Discharge

This morning I woke up to find that most of Infowars had been removed from iTunes and a few moments ago this broke.
We believe in giving people a voice, but we also want everyone using Facebook to feel safe. It’s why we have Community Standards and remove anything that violates them, including hate speech that attacks or dehumanizes others. Earlier today, we removed four Pages belonging to Alex Jones for repeatedly posting content over the past several days that breaks those Community Standards. Here’s more detail on enforcement of our standards:

Along the same vein of getting rid of bad rubbage, it was announced a few days ago that
Lance Cpl. Vasillios Pistolis has been given the boot.
“The Marine Corps’ stance on membership in extremist or hate groups remains the same: there is no place for racial hatred or extremism in the Marine Corps,” Block wrote in a message to The Daily News. “Our strength is derived from the individual excellence of every Marine regardless of background. Bigotry and racial extremism run contrary to our core values.”

Pistolis faced a summary court-martial on June 18, following investigations into violations of Articles 92 and 107 of the Uniform of Military Justice, according to a statement from Samir Glenn-Roundtree, communication strategy and operations officer for the 2nd Marine Logistics Group. Pistolis was sentenced to 28 days of confinement at the brig, a reduction in rank to private and a forfeiture of two-thirds pay for one month.

In reports published by Frontline PBS and ProPublica, Pistolis allegedly participated in the Unite the Right rally held Aug. 12, 2017, in Charlottesville, Virginia. At the same time as serving as an active duty Marine, Pistolis also belonged to a white supremacist group called the “Atomwaffen Division,” a guarded Neo-Nazi ensemble whose members claim they are prepping for a coming race war.

I have to wonder how many more are in our Armed forces. Perhaps this will shed light on it?
Throughout the case, which he initiated, Kessler claimed he would expose the Charlottesville government’s bias against him. But the only people Kessler ended up exposing were his associates on the racist right. During the case’s discovery process, Kessler ended up turning over text messages, emails, and chat logs, where he had talked with other Unite the Right participants.Kessler also turned over his Facebook messages, logs from the chat platform Discord, and chats from the encrypted messaging services Signal and Telegram. In some cases, those surrendered messages revealed the personal information of Kessler’s collaborators, which are now part of public court record.

In one case, included in court records, Kessler turned over emails from a person using the email handle “lionofgod1488”. Although Kessler has publicly tried to distance himself and his next rally from obvious neo-Nazis, “1488” is one of the best-known neo-Nazi slogan, a code that refers to the white supremacist “14 words” and to “heil Hitler.”

The nastiest discharge is hate, maybe this is the beginning of a cleansing.

Happy Monday!

and
Raine
