Hang in there Liv,
I off to mow my grass before the rains come again - I think it's only in the 80s here right now. Do you have to work today? Hope you can kick back and relax in the AC :D

unless you know how to make gas prices go down.
Cause gas prices are getting up there, i'm going to have to stop taking my paycheck and putting it away for college, and instead take money out so i can just afford to drive to work.

Random,
I hear that Last summer mfaye had enough extra scratch so that she could pay a guy to cut her grass and edge it all really nice, but this summer mfaye is out there mowing her own grass and the edge looks like shit, 'cause she can't get her weed whacker started It's tough times all around, at least I have a job that pays me not quite enough to live on :P
Cheers,

How come the Marlins can't fill up even somewhat Dolphin Stadium? On Friday, they only had 14,000 people and it holds 80,000 and I see a lot of empty seats at today's game when I look up at the monitors. Both the Marlins and Reds feeds are originating from our building.

Poor Stephanie,
I guess Chris didn't even stick around to attend her coronation - he's spending the weekend in San Fran... with friends like that, who needs enemas (ha ha).

Nope. This year they're completely rebuilding it.
We have a friend in the 'burbs that just bought a house with a pool, so we might be visiting with swimsuits and steaks for the grill.

The computer's been crashing all day long today. On the suggestion of a friend, I uninstalled my most recently installed program - the virus software update (AVG). Which, of course, leaves me without internet protection.
Here's the thing - after I uninstalled that program and rebooted, it crashed one more time.
I had noticed that the crashing was pretty much coinciding with getting on the net so it didn't seem like a bad diagnosis - especially considering the update had only been installed a week or so ago.
Right before the last crash, however, I saw an open tab in Firefox with a website for Kotel vodka still open. When I rebooted and started Firefox again, I opted to open it without restoring the previously open windows.
So far I've had no problems. This is the longest I've been able to stay online all day long.
Anyone want to weigh in on this or am I alone online right now?

I would say it is NOT your virus protection, and you should reinstall the update. After that, make sure no programs are running and do a full disk scan to eliminate the possibility of a virus.
I am going to guess the problem is either memory or (more likely) the hard drive.
If you have a bad sector on your hard drive, it can cause unpredictable problems, especially if it's on a part being used for your virtual memory. You can do this by opening a "CMD" window (Start | Run | CMD), and then running "ChkDsk /R". This will check and repair any disk problems.
If you get clean run, then you might have a bad memory chip. There used to be some programs for testing those, but it's been a long time since I've done that.
You might also look into defragmenting your disk, and/or cleaning up junk on your disk. Both utilities are under "Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools".
Hope that helps...

Did the defrag this afternoon. Right after that, when I went online it shut down again. Here's the interesting thing - no shutdowns since I restarted firefox in a new session instead of restoring the old one.
Is it possible that one of the websites in the tabs was messing badly with my computer?
