Chaos
Author: Raine    Date: 01/26/2017 14:09:28

There is so much chaos I can't keep track of it all.

He is delusional and can't do this.

Here is a link to the transcript from last night ABC Interview.

IT is just as difficult to read as it would be to watch.

Something need to happen to save this country from this insanity.

Morning

Just when I feel like I'm coming out of being so overwhelmed by all of this, we get a new round of BS.

Morning, comrades.

It's interesting poring over the flotsam and jetsam of five years of deskbound life. Most of it is put away, against the next time I will need things to make an office space look 'homey'.

TriSec had a kettle, a french press, a new box of Yorkshire Gold, and FIVE coffee mugs to take home. Problem? What problem? <-- hot joe

Rhetorical Trumpian Question:

Is he an enemy of the Constitution, "domestic", yet?

Wondering when the Marines will do what their oath demands.

Scathing piece on David Brock.
“I met with I’m a couple times—he’s fucking weird,” a former Obama administration official, who also requested anonymity, told The Daily Beast. “I felt like I was meeting Mugatu from Zoolander… I don’t know what the fuck [Brock’s network] did besides raise a ton of money, and I don’t think the after-action report on 2016 says we need more David Brock. Probably the opposite is true.”

First, good news before I give you some bad news.

I am finding some good jobs leads out East. If it happens, I definitely plan to visit my friends in the D.C. area.

Now for the bad news. The Doomsday Nuclear Clock has been moved 30 seconds closer to the end. It is now two and a half minutes to midnight.

The Doomsday Clock was created in 1947. It has changed 19 times since then, ranging from two minutes to midnight in 1953 to 17 minutes before midnight in 1991.

"Never before has the Bulletin decided to advance the clock largely because of the statements of a single person," two scientists at the Bulletin, Lawrence Krauss and David Titley, said in an opinion piece published by The New York Times.

"But when that person is the new president of the United States, his words matter."

That is actually normal practice - it's protocol to submit a resignation when the administration changes. It's unprecedented that such resignations are accepted, especially for multi-administration career diplomats.

He doesn't give a SHIT about NAFTA. Never has. What will happen is the treaty will be scrapped and we'll have a trade war. They'll impose even larger tariffs on us and things will spiral.

Mexico is our second largest trading partner. Our top import from them is OIL. The second is FOOD.

Get ready for bread lines kids. Or at the very least a massive hike in the price of produce.

Yeah actually now that I'm lookin' at it there's a lot going both ways, but produce is actually further down on the list (even tho it's about $2bil worth of produce).

BTW Raine I'm lookin for a link to back this up but I found this on one of my regular gaming forums:
The top exports of Mexico are Crude Petroleum ($37B), Cars ($33B), Vehicle Parts ($23B), Delivery Trucks ($22.7B) and Computers ($18.6B), using the 1992 revision of the HS (Harmonized System) classification. Its top imports are Refined Petroleum ($22.9B), Vehicle Parts ($22.7B), Integrated Circuits ($13.5B), Computers ($10B) and Broadcasting Accessories ($8.98B).

The top export destinations of Mexico are the United States ($291B), Canada ($24.5B), China ($7.89B), Spain ($6.18B) and Brazil ($5.35B). The top import origins are the United States ($194B), China ($58.7B), Japan ($15.8B), South Korea ($13.4B) and Germany ($12.8B).
