Immigrants and advocates had been bracing for the arrests, which Trump last warned of on Friday, saying he wanted agents “to take people out and take them back to their countries.†But federal law enforcement officials said they worried that the unusual public disclosure of the plan endangered officers and threatened their effectiveness.
Trump has vowed repeatedly to deport “millions†of people who are in the United States illegally, and the long-planned blitz aims to target families who entered the country recently and have received deportation orders. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has for years regularly arrested and removed immigrants who a judge has deemed should be deported after court hearings.

What laws, we don't seem to have those anymore.
SDNY says they learned today that Epstein had in a locked safe a foreign passport issued in the 1980s, expired, with a photo that appears to be Epstein and a name that is not his. It also gives his place of residence as Saudi Arabia.

Various reporters, including me, heard prosecutors say passport listed residence as Saudi Arabia, but this appears to be distinct from issuing country. I'll confirm once transcript arrives.
More TK.

AG Barr said this today: "My concern today is that under the banner of identity politics, some political factions are seeking to obtain power by dividing Americans. They undermine the values that draw us together... This is the breeding ground for hatred, and we must reject it."
