Bailout? John McCain bailed out on himself, his supporters and America.

No debate, John? Is that what you want??? How is that 'Country First?'

I don't know if i can do this explanation justice, but it was brought to my attention (Stan!!! ) that John isn't prepared for the debate!!!

First, we need to establish a simple timeline of today's events... From Obama spokesperson, Bill Burton:
At 8:30 this morning, Senator Obama called Senator McCain to ask him if he would join in issuing a joint statement outlining their shared principles and conditions for the Treasury proposal and urging Congress and the White House to act in a bipartisan manner to pass such a proposal. At 2:30 this afternoon, Senator McCain returned Senator Obama’s call and agreed to join him in issuing such a statement. The two campaigns are currently working together on the details.

They agreed to issue a JOINT statement. OK, but hold on.... Around 3:00 pm this afternoon, (and the time is critical here) John McCain's campaign issued a statement saying that he was going to 'suspend' his campaign, and asked to have the debates canceled. He ALSO wants the Obama campaign to do the same. (what? suspend the campaign and/or the debates? )
Was this the bipartisan statement? It was not.

Here is what we know. Obama is a man who does his work every day, and when the days work is done, he studies every night (that is how he became the president of the Harvard Law Review; that is how he graduated at the top of his class... ).

Barack doesn't need to do a hell of a lot of prep work for the debates.

John McCain on the other hand... He was faced with losing Thursday and Friday as his days for prepping for the debate.

So - in light of losing the time he needed to prep for the debate, he chose to use the economic crisis as an excuse for skipping out of the debate. Seriously, think about it... if you were asked by the smartest person in your class to study with them, and you KNEW you had to cram to pass the test, would you say yes?

McCain bailed out on himself. He didn't study, and he is not prepared for the biggest test of his life, and that was, in part, issuing a JOINT statement with Barack Obama about joining together to comment about a critical moment on our economic history. It's no wonder he is trying to get out of the debate on Friday, his lack of understanding of the very basics he should have been studying and understanding all along has finally caught up with him. John McCain couldn't issue a joint statement because he doesn't know WHAT that statement was supposed to be about.

Come on... you and I have all been in a place where we didn't study enough... I was one of those crammers. I had to cancel social invitations because I REALLY REALLY had to study....

I was not, however, running for president. Do you remember those days? We were faced with failing or skipping the test... And some of us did indeed take SERIOUS measures to make sure that test would not happen. I know we have heard of a few stories of people pulling the fire alarm on the big day... or calling in a bomb threat... or maybe we claimed we were too sick to go to school...

That is what John McCain just did. He pulled the fire alarm because he is simply not ready for the test.
