I've noticed that you have your 9/11 anniversary soiree planned for September 6. Why? Is this so the remembrance will not further weaken the anemic sales for Jaguar tickets? Or did the First Baptist Church nix the idea of having a somber remembrance on Sunday? Please explain this.

Dick Cheney is just evil.
During the last Presidential campaign, she told Chris Matthews, on MSNBC, that Barack Obama held “anti-American views†and then admitted, “I made a misstatement.†(In 2010, she said that she had been right about Obama’s views all along: “Now I look like Nostradamus.â€) In the spring of 2009, during what appeared to be the beginnings of a swine-flu epidemic, Bachmann said, “I find it interesting that it was back in the nineteen-seventies that the swine flu broke out then under another Democrat President, Jimmy Carter. And I’m not blaming this on President Obama—I just think it’s an interesting coincidence.â€

Morning, comrades.
Pondering the evil of Dick Cheney. It's interesting that the things listed are some of the hallmarks of fascism. It's not lost on me that within living memory, the United States fought against that sort of thing.
Yet Mr. Cheney walks the streets a free man.
It's interesting to note a certain hypocrisy about this sort of thing; an El Salvadorean war criminal is currently under house arrest in a suburb of Boston.
Cheney is far too wily to expose himself to any chance of being picked up....I suppose I will have to content myself by continuing to scream "DIE!!! Just Die so I can see it with my own eyes!" every time he appears on TV.

Welcome back Mala!
"Why now?" you ask? I have no idea.
Personally I would have liked to see this done with the NBC/Comcast merger.

That's what I was refering to - also back when AOL and Time Warner "mergered" and many other things - they've messed up the communications industry beyond belief and NOW they want to stop something? They make no sense

AOL/TW was under a different admin -- I know Comcast/NBC was under Obama, but maybe there is someone new in place to stop this?

There is WIlliam Kennard was FCC chair for AOL/TW and Julius G-something is the new one. Interesting thing they are both Dems. Does the FCC function as a board and the board votes on things in front of them. If it does I'd be interested to see who voted on what.

I saw that the incomparable Governor Palin (remrof) was going to be in NH on Labor Day to compete with another event starring Mitt Romney. Mitt rescheduled. (If you recall, the failbus was two towns over on the day Romney announced.)
