If this is true, they are even bigger lunatics than we realized

So this is what happened last night on IMW.
While I was doing my Monday show, a chatter over on the Fark side informed me that the StreamLicensing player stated they ceased operation on 6/14. StreamLicensing is the company that handles the payment of royalties for the music that we play.
I sent off frantic texts to Kenny & Adam to see if they knew about this. Apparently the place shut down with no warning to their subscribers at all. So at this point we are not "legal". Got hold of Adam who was surprised, then he called Kenny. We all made the decision that the proper thing to do was to stop playing music. I broke in, made an announcement and then hit the "kill the stream" switch.
Kenny hurriedly loaded up some OTR shows, took the music out of the rotation and started things up again.
Kenny is looking into alternative music licensing options. This does NOT affect TUTN or any of the other talk shows, they are in their normal time slots. I imagine Kenny will have some things to say about it tonight, but this took us all completely by surprise.

Is it me or is Twitter pretty much non-responsive.

JUST IN: Hours after a USA Today story came out about domestic violence allegations involving Patrick Shanahan, President Trump tweeted that Shanahan’s nomination to permanently lead the Defense Department will “not go forward†so “that he can devote more time to his family.â€
