I know that every week it seems a little more insane, however...

...it is a little more insane. The very stable genius is getting more unstable at a very rapid rate as the House Impeachment query intensifies.
While Congress is on a two-week recess, members of the committee will return to the U.S. Capitol this week to carry out an investigation that is likely to produce new subpoenas for documents and other material.

The committee is scheduled to hold a closed-door hearing on Friday with the intelligence community’s inspector general, Michael Atkinson, who concluded that the whistleblower complaint was of urgent concern and appeared credible.

House investigators are set to take the first witness testimony from two people mentioned in the whistleblower’s complaint.

On Wednesday, three House committees - Intelligence, Foreign Affairs and Oversight - are due to get a deposition from former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, who Trump labeled “bad news” during his call with Zelenskiy.

The walls are closing in so expect the hunted witch to act like a wounded animal. Just this morning, he suggested Chairman Adam Schiff be arrested for treason.

According to 18 U.S. Code § 2381: Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

Speaking of war, last night self-declared Genius de Stable also sent this out on social media:

The last civil war was because southern states wanted the right to enslave black people. They were willing to tear this country apart. Over 600,000 people died and countless lives maimed forever. It's insane to think that some people would be willing to go through another one over one man who is clearly unstable, unwell and not with all his mental capabilities. His hardcore base is cultlike IMO.

The pResident is threatening civil war, the killing of Americans if Congress does its constitutionally required job of oversight. Think about that for a moment and ask yourself, who really loves this country and who is anti-American?

One more thing, this broke on Fox News yesterday. And with that, happy monday.

Breaking!

The Senate would have to take up impeachment of President Donald Trump if the House effectively votes to charge the president, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Monday.

“I would have no choice but to take it up,” the Kentucky Republican told CNBC. “How long you are on it is a different matter, but I would have no choice but to take it up based on a Senate rule on impeachment.”

Well, looks like I might need to dust-off my Bush Era plan where I could be out of the country in 6 hours at an unguarded border crossing.

But I also now know of a deserted scout camp in NH and I have the resources there to survive for quite some time.

I saw that post, have you found out why it was closed?

Then Mich McConnell is guilty of dereliction of duty and subject to impeachment himself.

It's very complex.

T.L. Storer Scout Reservation was deeded in perpetuity to the Boston Council, a gift of Theodore Storer of Waltham, a longtime local scouter and direct descendant of Robert Treat Paine (Signer of the Declaration of Independence).

Formerly Three camps under one umbrella (Parker Mountain, Wild Goose, and Adams Pond), over the last 20 years or so the camp has been neglected, understaffed, poorly-resourced and turned into a backwater. A recent council merger got us a much newer and better-equipped camp nearby (called Wah-Tut-Ca) that has become the darling of the Council Leadership.

Every year for the last 5, camp has been reduced by a week, and all resources and effort have been shifted to a local day camp, and the new summer camp. With just 3 weeks of "season", they can't hire adequate staff nor supply the camp with any kind of real support or program. (It takes longer to set up, train, and break down camp than the actual season.)

Officially, "Financial Reasons", and camp has been shuttered for two years until they re-assess what can happen. This is so they have time to have the lawyers pick apart the original deed of gift and figure out how they can legally sell the property.

This happened about 3 years ago with another property that had been deeded to Scouts in perpetuity, a camp called "Massasoit" down in Plymouth, MA that no longer exists.

This council has a track record of destroying scout camps. All three camps that I attended as both a youth and adult Scouter now no longer exist. I can look around and see neighboring councils with big, beautiful, modern camps - fully staffed, complete 6-week summer seasons, and in two cases a waiting list for troops to attend.

This council sucks.
