Good morning, bloggers!!

There is no title on today's blog.

I missed this as I was busy working on a few things. I am in the last stretch at work.

Greetings, comrades.

We eagerly await missives from Beacon Hill today, but Mayor Walsh (D-MA) and Governor Baker (R-MA) are already in disagreement.

Parts of the state may tentatively re-open tomorrow (churches, more retail, construction, manufacturing), but the Mayor states Boston won't re-open until June 1, and limiting buildings to just 10% capacity.

We'll see how this plays out - in all honesty, there has not been a "D" or "R" in local politics or leadership since the crisis began, they've been pretty much walking arm-in-arm (metaphorically, of course).

Leave it to Massachusetts. Isn't that the way it should be in a national crisis? As always, your mileage may vary.

There are at least 3 counties in Maryland that are not opening up with the the Governopr. We are one of them, and I am grateful for tht.

Good morning. Just waiting for the aides to finish making my bed before the nurse has to change my dressing.

We've just been advised that we'll be "Phase 3" (arts, entertainment, museums, etc.) That's going to put us out about another 6 weeks, if the phases hold to schedule.

In Lake Couinty, Indiana -- just across the border from Chicago and Cook County, Illinois -- restaurants are now open . I am hoping that we do not see a resurgence of corona virus cases.

This would be a major scandal in any other administration. This is what I expect from the GOP leadership in Congress.
