I hope you are having a good Monday morning. After a week away, looking at the news and the subjects du jour, it feels like Groundhog day.
It also feels like something is about to burst wide open. Thinks cannot remain in the same wash cycle for months and months without something finally reaching a tipping point.
Some say that evil will eventually destroy itself, and I believe that to be true. However, no one seems to know how long it will take to do so.
I hope this fever breaks soon.

I hope that everyone is well.
I suspect that something will break soon. It may be that the planned right-wing watch in DC fizzles (ideally) or turns violent. Or that some major news breaks that we have anticipated, such as indictments of major officials in the January 6th insurrection.

The tide of evil until we start seeing criminal prosecutions of these bastards including TFG and his allies. And I still can't forgive W for the shit he did because that started it.

I do have some good personal news. I signed my contract for LAUSD, got my COVID-19 test, and have some more steps to go through before I start teaching.

The prosecutions are necessary. I hope that we see some accountability.
As for W, I applaud his speech. However, his incompetence helped lead to 9/11 and he started a war in Iraq when Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction and no ties to the 9'11 attacks.

Back from a delightful ride today.
Put my camera on my back and rode all the way down to Windmill Point in Hull, MA. Planes were coming right in on the way to Logan, and it was a simply delightful afternoon by the ocean.
Still haven't cracked the century mark in one sitting, though. (100 miles, not 100 mph!!)
