Today I'd like to bring you a recommendation for a new podcast to listen too and a follow on every social media platform you're on. If you haven't already heard of her that is.

Leigh McGowan (aka Politics Girl)




She's been "ranting from her kitchen", as she puts it, for about a year and just recently was spotlighted on Brian Williams 11th Hour. I've only been listening for a few months and just wow!

A seeming mix of Katherine Hepburn and Julia Sugarbaker, she is smart, funny, and delivers a passionate message of Democrats, both moderate and progressive. And lord knows we need some people out there whose voice can cut through the din of GQP droning and lies. Take a listen when you have some time.



Hope you enjoy her as much as I have these past few months.

Good morning, bloggers!!!

So, my school asked if I wanted to press charges against the student who threw a tennis ball at my this week. I said yes, and talked to two officers. The student has in-school suspension today and will be removed from my class. I guess I will find out if anything else happens.

I am glad to be off for a week after today.

I am going to see if the principal will let me apply elsewhere. However, apparently all the middle schools are a mess.

Oh damn. I am so sorry that you had to go thru this, but I am also glad you were there for other people.

A productive morn in the Trisec compound so far. But sad - put my bike into storage for the winter. Good rookie season. I didn't die. I didn't dump it. Ever onward.

My mission this afternoon is "The Great Turkey Hunt". Off to see if the National Turkey Blight is real, or fake news. I was at the market yesterday and saw plenty available. Didn't buy one quite yet.
