Good Morning.
Has everyone seen "The Manchurian Candidate"? Not the new one, the classic 1962 version with Frank Sinatra. Brooding and cerebral, even sixty years ago a precursor of the modern political world. Did it introduce the world to the idea of brainwashing? Probably not, but it certainly became more mainstream after that.
Certain groups of society seem to be using these techniques early and often on their adherents. There might be a grand old party near you that celebrates this technique, but it may even be more prevalent among certain adherents of an itinerant Jew from Nazareth. Couple coercive persuasion with faith and you've found yourself a cult!
And here's where we come to a screeching halt. 'A Charismatic Leader' is the engine behind many cults and mis-beliefs. Nearly every single one of those leaders has figured out how to use brainwashing to keep his loyal followers in line. You know their names - and many of them are infamous.
David Koresh. Marshall Applewhite. Jim Jones.
But what happens when a cult leader convinces enough people to follow them that they can take over a government?
Benito Mussolini. Adolf Hitler.
And the scariest of all - a single person so powerful that people live and die at his command. With fingers in literally every aspect of daily life for his followers - and so powerful that when he fell ill at last, nobody was brave enough to open his door to see if he was OK, so he died on his own bedroom floor cold and alone, covered in his own piss.
Josef Stalin.
And now that brings us to the current state of the United States of America. A clear dividing line exists between ordinary citizens and brainwashed followers of a cult leader. He remains unassailable and untouchable in their eyes for reasons only they understand. Their only loyalty is to him - not the United States, not the Constitution, and certainly not to any rule of law.
This is what we are up against on November 8. In my opinion, this country will not survive another attempt at government by these anti-Americans.
We don't need any convincing, but do consider the humble preamble of the United States Constitution for a second.
They are not "The People of the United States"
They seek to Destroy the Union, not make it more perfect.
They seek to avoid Justice, increase domestic Strife, destroy the general welfare and increase wealth and power in the hands of the few.
Their 'blessings of liberty' only apply to themselves and their loyal followers - everyone else is now an enemy.
What they choose to ordain and establish as a new ruling party and law is a nightmare none of us should deign to ponder.

brainwashing, also called Coercive Persuasion, systematic effort to persuade nonbelievers to accept a certain allegiance, command, or doctrine. A colloquial term, it is more generally applied to any technique designed to manipulate human thought or action against the desire, will, or knowledge of the individual. By controlling the physical and social environment, an attempt is made to destroy loyalties to any unfavourable groups or individuals, to demonstrate to the individual that his attitudes and patterns of thinking are incorrect and must be changed, and to develop loyalty and unquestioning obedience to the ruling party.
The term is most appropriately used in reference to a program of political or religious indoctrination or ideological remolding. The techniques of brainwashing typically involve isolation from former associates and sources of information; an exacting regimen requiring absolute obedience and humility; strong social pressures and rewards for cooperation; physical and psychological punishments for non-cooperation ranging from social ostracism and criticism, deprivation of food, sleep, and social contacts, to bondage and torture; and continual reinforcement.
The nature of brainwashing as it occurred in communist political prisons received widespread attention after the Chinese Communist victory in 1949 and after the Korean and Vietnamese wars. More recently, its reported use in fringe religious cults and radical political groups has aroused concern in the United States.

It has a belief system that has the answers to all of life’s questions and offers a special solution to be gained only by following the leader’s rules. It requires a high level of commitment from at least some of the members.
