No offense to my male friends, and they are many, but could we please, please, have a break? Let's elect some sensible, strong women to run the country (world?). Ya'll can just sit back and catch up on TV, go to NASCAR events, drink beer, watch porn, have a never-ending World of Warcraft game, spend the day in the gym and watch every single college football/basketball game and professional baseball game without missing a single one!
Okay, that was a bad stereotype, and I apologize.
But, help me conquer the world, and all these things and more.... could be yours!

Linsanity is on ABC right now as the Knicks are on in a struggle with the Mavs in a very close game. This is the first game for the Knicks newest pick-up who had been in China during the lockout. And then there's the clueless (now employed) ESPN web writer who headlined "Chink in the armor" after Friday night's loss to New Orleans.

I have some sad news. I was listening to a lecture with a friend and there were a few references to the Iroquois. This brought claypigeonb, aka as Reverend Patricia Anne Moore, to mind. She lived her last years in Upstate New York near Iroquois country. I checked her Facebook page and learned that she passed away on January 25, 2012 -- the date of my last blog here. Reverend Pat encouraged me to write and I will do so.
Here is a link to the obituary for Reverend Patricia Anne Moore, one of the wisest and most compassionate souls that I have known. Zichronam liv'racha, may her memory be for a blessing.

Claypigeonb was an infrequent poster here but was very active at the Unfiltered News Network and Air America Place. She was a remarkable woman.
