Mornin' all.. 
I'm in full revolt today.. as far as I can gather NONE of the side streets in Providence outside of downtown have been plowed properly and now have 3-4 INCHES of ice covering them, and with the rain yesterday the few bare spots and driveway entrances have become lakes because the drains are clogged. Sidewalks are also glazed with black ice in the spots where they've been shoveled out and not salted
Last night I slipped and fell on the ice just trying to get to my apartment building (thankfully I caught a railing before my head hit, but I still have a nice bruise on my leg). I'm making sure the mayor (who has big ambitions to become Governor next year) know it loud & clear before more people tumble and aren't so fortunate to have a railing to catch.

I have a friend from Venezuela -- things are taking an ugly turn there.
I know that Kiev is the hot protest news right now, but this is something worth paying attention to. I asked her what I could do to help (she has family there) her response:

Just to share all english info. I've been posting some videos, it is important to let the people know about this. Venezuela itself has a Media blackout, tv, radio, newspapers are all controlled by the government the only thing they cannot do much is social media,. All those videos that are coming out from Venezuela are coming thru twitter and FB. I'll appreciate to watch them and to share what you consider is important. : )

you should see you doctor about that at this point, Liv.
after my panic attack-- (and it was terrifying) the Doctor gave me something for anxiety.
it's been very helpful.
So has the Augmentan for the sinus and ear infection and the medicine for the cough has been very helpful.
