Tonite is Kentucky and Oregon. Oregon has been voting by mail for a while, and we expect those results to come in very later tonite. Kentucky is expected to go HRC's way. But tonite, the big story regarding the primary, is that Obama will get the majority of Pledged delegates, from both Kentucky and Oregon. Soon after that I suspect that
The 'Pelosi Club' will endorse Obama.

And... in light of the very sad news we were informed of today, of the GREAT senator from Massachusetts , I leave you with these words.

The work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die.

Edward Kennedy, August 12, 1980, NYC

You are in our thoughts and prayers Senator Kennedy, but yes, the cause endures, the hope still lives and our dreams will never die.

:peace: and
See you inside.

I was looking for this quote earlier.

...So, let us not be blind to our differences -- but let us also direct attention to our common interests and to the means by which those differences can be resolved. And if we cannot end now our differences, at least we can help make the world safe for diversity. For, in the final analysis, our most basic common link is that we all inhabit this small planet. We all breathe the same air. We all cherish our children's future. And we are all mortal.

Popular vote:

Why Michigan should count: Because Hillary won.

Why Florida should count: Because Hillary won.

Why Iowa Shouldn't count: Because Hillary lost.

Hillary doesn't care about the voters. She threatened to sue Texas because of it's primary process, saying it is not fair to the people, but because it appeared to be in her favor (though some debate on that) she will not.

She cries out over Mi and Fl, yet has admited time and time again, before the election, that neither mattered. The voters knew, everyone knew, that those states wouldn't matter.

Comment by Random on 05/21/2008 03:08:43

Wow...Geez...she's kinda screechy and bitter.

I really don't like that argument of: Well my husband (or 'my friends', or 'people i know') say that was offensive.

The problem really is, that you can't really judge something on the basis of one or two, or even ten people. And for Ferraro to basically Dismiss what Rachel said is sad. Especially since that bloody dusting the shoulder can only be taken offensive if you truly are so nuts to think anything against someone who is a woman as being sexist.

I really don't like that argument of: Well my husband (or 'my friends', or 'people i know') say that was offensive.

Interesting you should put it that Ferraro dismissed what Rachel said. I commented on YouTube the same thing. It would have been nice if Ms. Ferraro had let Rachel finish a sentence or two. Rachel, otoh, is far too polite sometimes - particularly with icons.

Bit late to respond, but i can understand that, Ferraro would almost had to have been a role model for her. But now i think Ferraro is scared of being irrelevent (why now, i don't know) and being next to probably one of the most recognized female pundits in the field scared her more than anything, so she wouldn't let Rachel say a word in edgewise.
