"But time and time again, history has proven that you got it wrong as well in Iraq, sir," Kelly said. "You said there was no doubt Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. You said the Iraq insurgency was in the last throes, back in 2005. And you said that after our intervention extremists would have to 'rethink their strategy of jihad.'"
"Now with almost a trillion dollars spent there, with 4,500 American lives lost there, what do you say to those who say you were so wrong about so much at the expense of so many?" she asked.
And as far as Cheney, he is claiming that his administration 'inherited' the situation in Iraq. Let me tell you, there are times I believe that Saddam had nothing on the pure evil that is Dick Cheney.
During his final briefing on Wednesday, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney got in a jab at Dick Cheney after the former vice president wrote in the Wall Street Journal that “rarely has a U.S. president been so wrong about so much at the expense of so many” with regards to Iraq and Middle East policy.
“Which president was he talking about?” Carney zinged as ABC reporter Jon Karl read off the quote, prompting laughter from the packed room.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch just broke the news that the FBI and U.S. attorney are investigating the GOP's jobs-for-resignation bribery scheme:
The U.S. Department of Justice is investigating the circumstances surrounding the recent resignation of state Sen. Phillip P. Puckett, D-Russell, including his alleged consideration for a job on the state tobacco commission and the pending judicial appointment of his daughter in Southwest Virginia. Sources familiar with the probe, speaking on condition of anonymity, said representatives of the FBI and United States Attorney's Office for the Western District of Virginia have been conducting interviews, including with elected officials who may have knowledge of the chain of events. One source said a grand jury will convene in Abingdon next week to hear testimony on the matter.1
This is amazing. Thanks to you and your fellow Virginians who joined the call to investigate, we're a step closer to rooting out the corruption that has taken over Richmond.

Good day, folks. Finally got back online at home yesterday with my own FiOS account yesterday. Today, I am going to drop off some equipment since most of the other tenants have switched off so now roomie will basically be just covering his room and the rest of our floor outside of my room once he can get the bill paid (if his boss ever pays him back).

Since roomie doesn't have a car, I have to go return some of the equipment so he doesn't keep getting hit with charges.
