That's right, right? They have to be processed - ie get information, find out who they are, where they came from, why they came - they unless there is something dire, they get sent home.

In my head this is how we do it - am I close or way off base? I mean we don't just load everyone in a bus and dump them in the middle of who knows where, do we?

You aren't off base at all. That was the law I talked about last Monday. It was to help stem human trafficking and children being sold in sex slavery.

oh good

It seems like a logical way to deal with it to me. I don't understand why other's think we just ship people back randomly. That would be a huge waste of money.

I think it's about time for Momma to wish Billy from Texas into the cornfield. He just gets more horrible with each phone call. After the call this morning, I actually found myself wishing they'd take a call from Road Flare Mary again.

As the president approached, Webb threw his hand down and slapped the counter dramatically. "Equal rights for gay people!"

"Are you gay?" the president asked.

"Only when I have sex," Webb said.

"That's when he laughed and said, 'Bump me,'" Webb says.

Good day, folks. As I see the automatic GOP doing whatever in opposition, and the proliferation in neo-Nazi activities since Obama's election and the accusations of far leftism despite his centrist politics that there isn't enough evidence to show that the right-wing opposition is acting more on racism than actual opposition to his policies.

Comment by Raine on 07/14/2014 18:04:50
Ar a certain point he has lost any respect he once had. now he has reached level: Troll.
"So I'm not particularly interested in getting between Senator Paul and Governor Perry, but I do believe that the things we're seeing in the world today, in greater turmoil than at any time in my lifetime, is a direct result of an absence of American leadership."
Now, for McCain, the “absence of American leadership” roughly translates to “we’re not engaged militarily in enough foreign countries,” so this is obviously easy to dismiss.

But to believe the world is in "greater turmoil" than at any time in McCain's lifetime is an amazing claim. I suppose there's some subjectivity to this 'one observer's turmoil may be another's unrest 'but John McCain was born in 1936.

I mention this because his lifetime includes the entirety of World War II and the beginning, middle, and end of the Cold War. McCain wants to talk about global 'turmoil'? We can have a spirited chat about Hitler taking swaths of Europe while Japan invaded China. That's 'b]turmoil.' By comparison, today's global stage is almost tranquil.
Remember when he said he knew how to get Bin LAden and then never told us?

McCain is now a troll.

So we have this serious problem at the office this year.. all along the wooden curb of the parking lot & the front steps are these giant dirt mounds that look like some freakishly large ant built 'em.

Turns out they're burrowing hornets.

Ugh.. these damn buses are killin me today. One doesnt show up, so I hope another route to try to catch it downtown instead. I get to Prov and the bus changes routes, forcing me to walk a half mile to my transfer spot. And of course when Im almost there it leaves.

Did I mention Im toting groceries? Its not raining, for now, but its so damn humid from the earlier squall.

aaaaand the asshole driver blew RIGHT PAST MY STOP!

They're redoing all the sidewalks you see, so the signpost is down temporarily on the parking lot behind it. This guy didn't wanna hear it - he's all like 'no sign, no stop!' and I had to walk an extra five blocks back to my apartment.
