I hate people. That is all. (Not you fine people)

Morning.

I thought Masshole drivers were bad. Connecticut seems to combine the worst of MA and NY drivers. I think I-84 was named because that's the minimum safe speed.

In that region, I have always found Connecticut Drivers as the worst.

good morning!

Greetings, comrades!

Was it wrong of me to enjoy crushing a surly customer like a gnat yesterday?

I invite you all to spend a nice relaxing commute with me along I-285. It's breathtaking, I assure you.

This will happen about once every couple of years.

Some holiday weekend, check the Boston traffic reports. It's not uncommon for the Pike Westbound to be a solid line oof traffic for the entire 50 miles from downtown to the I-84 split.

:waits for Tri to show pictures of Boston traffic:

I-285 in Atlanta may be bad, but I think the Connector is worse. 8 lanes in each direction packed with stop-and-go traffic. As soon as you break free it's NASCAR time

Point taken. I will say, however, that I have seen some incredibly chutzpah-laden traffic violations in my daily commute. I swear the late Hal Needham is directing Atlanta traffic.

I'm sure it'll be back, it's just what providers do to get contract negotiations moving. Though I wish they'd get rid of it, The Blaze and that NewsMax.

Its just funny to watch them.

It's a CHRISTMAS MIRACLE!! Dish and FOX in a fight. I cried when they fought over Adult Swim, this time, I'm calling Dish and telling them not to renew the contract

Oh and I got a package..... Wheeeeee!!

How did I miss this?!

Congress actually did a good thing before they left for vacation.
Congress reauthorized legislation this week that will require states to report the number of people killed during an arrest or while in police custody.

"You can't begin to improve the situation unless you know what the situation is," Rep. Bobby Scott (D-Va.), one of the bill's sponsors, said in an interview with the Washington Post. "We will now have the data."

The Death in Custody Reporting Act was originally passed in 2000, but expired in 2006. Scott has attempted to reauthorize the bill unsuccessfully four times since then.

The first time the bill was passed, it took years for data to start coming in, and it expired shortly thereafter, Scott said.

I have a lot to do today so I have a pretty full plate, plus send out something that I am late sending out because I have been so busy. No rest for me except maybe tonight.

The only thing mentioning 495 is could refer to the Beltway or the LIE since they both have that number.

So what I announced on TUTN Friday night is that I will be starting my own 1 hour music show on Indie Media Weekly Thursday nights (9-10PM Eastern) called Paul's Memory Bank. There will be a mix of Classic Rock , Pop and novelty tunes all with an underlying theme each week. The official show will start January 1, but there will be a special Christmas Night "shakedown cruise" as I continue to get used to the DJ software. I'll start off classical but it will quickly devolve into the bizarre.

There will be a chat room which will be interesting as I try to juggle 2 PCs, mice and keyboards.

There is also a 495 in a half circle around Boston, outside of the 128/I-95 loop.

Not surprised at all that this is happening.

My questions is who's doing it - the US government or Anonymous/LulzSec?

I win.

There was unfortunately a fatal accident at the Route 128 & 95 merge north of Boston, about 25 miles from where I sit.

Traffic is at a standstill for about 30 miles heading north...from the accident site, all the way down Route 128, and through the I-90 exchange out onto the Mass Pike eastbound.

But why is this a win? That's the curiosity delay . The accident was on the southbound side, about 3 hours ago now.
