... and there is a suspect wanted in connection with the Bombing that occurred this weekend in NYC.

I am very glad that no one was killed and other explosives were found before they detonated.

I am gonna try to put together a better blog for you today, however for now -- my heart is with the people of New York and New Jersey.

You know my first thought was, crap what did Trump supporters do to sway the election one way?

Mornin' all!

Having some productive conversation with Stein supporters today. Thankfully they're open to reason if you say it the right way.

If they live in a heavily blue or red state, it won't make a difference. If they live in a state that could go either way, they should pass on Stein

Morning all.

Got in to work this morning and something smelled a bit......funny...

Then I noticed the display on my network analyzer that's on my desk was dark (I have it on all the time because if you turn it off it has to be recalibrated again which is a PITA).

Got permission to play doctor.....hmm....something in its power supply got REAL unhappy....

Ahhh I've had that happen a few times. Never a pleasant smell.

I used to work on power supplies for copiers. Every once in a while we'd get a really stinky one. It was because a mouse crawled inside for the warmth and got zapped by a large capacitor (or the 110 VAC). This usually caused them to evacuate their bladders. So - mouse piss and desiccated and/or decomposing mouse.

mmmmm... Eau d'Pixie.

Interesting that both the main fuse and the power supply fuse are OK. Hopefully there's no further damage and a new $820 power supply will fix it.

Heh.. I guess rodents are basically really high quality but low durability resistors.

I always forget. In addition to talk like a Pirate day, it's also the date that the blog's patron saint had this happen.

Is it wrong that (metaphorically) hopes this happenes to the trump campaign?

Nope. Something needs to come out that will finally shoot him down. It is sad that the RWNJ's are so beyond accepting facts and love their authoritarian right-wing values.

Say all, did I tell you that I managed to upgrade my OS to that Windows 10 thingy all by myself last night?

And look- the internets still work!

Always good to err on the side of caution where the Secret Service is involved...
