Mobbie Snowflake
Author: Raine    Date: 10/15/2018 13:04:42

So now we are an angry mob?

Just a few months ago we were snowflakes who couldn't deal with what people call "conservatism" these days Now, after the post-Kavanaugh situation, it seems as those very same people who called us snowflakes are now trying to say that we are an angry mob.

Let's talk about mob behavior in the Trump world.

You know what? We aren’t snowflakes, and we aren’t an angry mob. We are angry that societal norms are being put through a shredder all to please the leader of a strange autocratic-inspired person.

This is not normal and going quiet isn’t go to return us to some semblance of societal normalcy. A president campaigning while entire cities are wiped out from a hurricane is not only not normal, it’s abhorrent. An unindicted co-conspirator occupying the Oval Office is an American tragedy.

The people in power are accusing us of inciting riots and at the same time are saying we are too docile to handle their toxicity with anyone who doesn’t agree with them? That is what is dangerous. They are tearing this country apart with it.

I don’t care if they think I am a mob and a snowflake, what I am going to do is vote and speak out the way I have always done. The American way of life is under attack and it’s not the leftist Mob or the snowflakes - which don’t exist - that are responsible.

Don’t let them have it both ways. Call them out and vote them out.

and

Raine

Morning

Ya know in all the years that Bush ticked me off, my eye didn't twitch as much as it has in the last 2 years. AND I never actually felt the urge to throat punch someone so much.

Don't know about ya'll but these new polls are making me very nervous and getting that same dread feeling from 2016. Trying not to give but ugh.....

And yet, I vote.

I'm with Travis on this one -- there are new people registering right up until the deadlines, and I don't think they are being polled.

After 2016 and the theft I give all polls side eye and I feel like that was smart. Virginia was a perfect example. Northam is our governor and he won by a MUCH larger margin than the polls said he would.

Think we've gotten phone polls (landline) about 10 times in less then a month. Totally get the whole new voters voices not being heard yet or those without landlines. Guess I'm more struggling to hope for the best but prepare for the worst scenarios

It's infuriating, I know.

But I still believe in having the information at the ready when others try to spread his lies.

tRump LOVES campaigning for president, because the crowd feed his black hole of an ego. He hates doing the actual presidenting.

This why I think I am maybe more pissed that EVERY Republican will do nothing to stop him from his abhorrent behavior.

Mornin' all!

I've been deep in the tank for a few days. But I come bearing numbers on the current state of the House races!
Of the 99 districts currently on my *aherm* Hot 100 List...
- 1 is a 100% certain R->D Flip
- 14 are strongly certain (over 10pts) to flip R->D
- 11 favor R->D flip by 4-10 points
- 31 are within Toss-up range (+/- 3pts either way)
- 20 favor staying R by 4-10 points
- 5 are strongly certain (over 10 pts.) to stay R
- 3 are strongly certain to D->R flip
- 14 were included for the list, but do not have any known polling (One of those is another potential D->R flip)

As always, ignore the polls. Act as if everything is on the line. VIGILANCE!

I think we should still should be worried about the GOP voter suppression efforts in places like Georgia, Florida, North Dakota, and Texas that will keep people from voting, especially for people likely to vote Democratic. The fact that the racist Republican candidate for Governor in Georgia is using his power as Secretary of state to engage in the kind of voter suppression that was done in the pre civil rights era should make us all nervous

Greetings, comrades!

Done for the day; two cruise ship tours and go home. Not bad.

I was wondering over the weekend....is Nate Silver still around? Assuming the Russians haven't fucked his website over, I wonder what ol' 538.com is trending?
