Whistling
Author: Raine    Date: 09/19/2019 13:07:14

Whistleblower files complaint following Trump's 'communications with a foreign leader,' WaPo reports.

Story here.
Trump’s interaction with the foreign leader included a “promise” that was regarded as so troubling that it prompted an official in the U.S. intelligence community to file a formal whistleblower complaint with the inspector general for the intelligence community, said the former officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.

This is going to break big in the coming days.

I had to take a certain gentleman to the train station this morning, so please forgive such a short blog.

Maddow and O'Donnel covered this story exhaustively last night.

Carry on, friends.

and

Raine

Morning

Another day, another dangerous embarrassment.

Morning

What has me scratching my head this morning is Joe Kennedy III about to announce he’s running for Ed Markey’s Senate seat. Yeah, I can understand he wants to move up, but Markey’s been a good legislator for a long time.

The potential fly in the ointment is what happens if Warren DOES win in 2020. “Republican” Charlie Baker would fill that Senate seat until a new election....wait....I....hear the call of the pickup truck from Cow Hampshire....Scott Brown is on his way!

That is the seat Kennedy should be preparing to run for. Look at me counting chickens before they hatch.

Hmmm. There was another thing I was scratching my head over, but now I’m scratching my head trying to figure out what that was.

I'd like Kennedy to wait.

What I don't get is why they are trial balloning this.

Trump is suing to prevent the NYSAG from getting his tax returns.

For the first time, Trump's private legal team pushes an argument into federal court that the President should be immune from criminal investigation while in office.

What about White Water, you dumb bastards?

Is this an admission?

I wonder if the call was on his cell phone though and not an office White House call.

This was an interesting read: Kavenaugh need not be impeached to be removed

Saving this for later.

I like the author a lot.

Colt suspends production of the AR-15 for civilian market.

This is probably not permanent, but it is a good move.
