Seriously?

Did these things really happen this week?

David Vitter, he of the poopy diapers and hookers, wants he fellow Americans to show their ID if they use food stamps to buy food. What?

Vitter is alluding to a system problem on Oct. 14, 2013, that erased spending limits for beneficiaries of the program, officially known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. Some Louisiana residents reportedly took advantage of the computer glitch at three stores to obtain food beyond their monthly limits. Others bypassed checkout lines, some with full carts of items, during the confusion over the computer glitch.

A photo ID would not have stopped people from taking advantage of the system failure that day. But Vitter said requiring photo IDs would make it harder for someone to use a stolen or fraudulently obtained Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) debit food stamp benefits card.

With SNAP cards (food stamps) one must use a PIN for the transaction to work, their is no way around this, so why pick on just users of food stamps? Why not have every single card user show ID? Well, that would certainly slow spending down - at least at the checkout line.

Did you know that preventing women from having access to abortions can create jobs? I didn't either, but Virginia's Bob Goodlatte seems to think so.

I would suggest that it is very much the case that those of us in the majority support this legislation because it is the morally right thing to do, but it is also very very true that having a growing population and having new children brought into the world is not harmful to job creation," Goodlatte said at the committee mark-up of the bill. "It very much promotes job creation for all the care and services and so on that need to be provided by a lot of people to raise children.

So, lemme get this straight. Women would have unwanted babies then, they could all get jobs taking care of each others babies, even if they didn't have any skills or desires to do that. Well, that sounds like a republican burst of Freedomy-freedom in 'Merica!

This probably won't shock you - but Ted Nugent said something crazy. The Nuge weighed in on a viral video of a toddler spewing obscenites that apparently went viral. See if you can guess what color skin the toddler has without watching the video:

"Just when you think it can’t get any uglier, some street rat will slither out of the sewer and do something that shocks even the most hardened and calloused among us, me included.” He said the video showed “the continuing and unbroken cycle of street-rat savagery” and called the boy’s family “a bunch of gangster thugs, punks, degenerates and criminals.

He later went on to say that blacks have no right to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr Day. Yeah. Go figure.

Well, not to be outdone by Ted, Elizabeth Hasselbeck went on FOX "news" to offer up this burning question.

Are feminists and these effeminate men a threat to national security?

Um.

Yeah. I got nuthin'.
