While many people continue to applaud our all white Justices in the Supreme Court of the US, like their decisions on the Voting Rights Act - race relations continue to slide on. Mostly downhill.

What's largely different from 1914 to 2014 is that we have audio and video. Oh, am women and blacks feel more empowered thanks to the rights that we did receive. Those rights are slowly dwindling.

Our whitest Justice, Clarence Thomas, had this to say about the Voting Rights act last year:
While the Court claims to “issue no holding on §5 itself,” ante, at 24, its own opinion compellingly demonstrates that Congress has failed to justify “‘current burdens’” with a record demonstrating “‘current needs.’” See ante, at 9 (quoting Northwest Austin, supra, at 203). By leaving the inevitable conclusion unstated, the Court needlessly prolongs the demise of that provision. For the reasons stated in the Court’s opinion, I would find §5 unconstitutional.

Yeah. That's what most people think Justice Thom, ya'll didn't go far enough to restrict minorities from voting.

So anyway, on a completely different topic, there is this guy in Nevada who owns a ranch and has used Federal land to feed his cows, while killing a bunch of turtles that are now going extinct. His name is Bundy.

Whoops. Not this Bundy. This one, the Oath Keeper™ guy:

This guy has a few things to say about the Federal Government as well as "the Negro". Things like:

He'll obey his state but not the feds.(Hey! Here's an idea: next time you're on a interstate toll road and get to the toll booth, refuse to pay the toll to the government. See how well that goes for ya. Get back to me when you can).

That his ancestors used the land and he has a right to as well. (No word about who used it before them).

And that "the Negro" is enslaved by the government. Now, here is where it gets complicated; try to keep up. He claims that he was driving in North Las Vegas and came across a housing project where he says, “and in front of that government house the door was usually open and the older people and the kids — and there is always at least a half a dozen people sitting on the porch — they didn’t have nothing to do. They didn’t have nothing for their kids to do. They didn’t have nothing for their young girls to do".

Why did I highlight all the references to children? Because in the same quote he also said this:

“And because they were basically on government subsidy, so now what do they do?” They abort their young children, they put their young men in jail, because they never learned how to pick cotton. And I’ve often wondered, are they better off as slaves, picking cotton and having a family life and doing things....."

Well. I wanna know who the heck is doing all this "hanging out" if everyone is in jail and getting aborted?

Ammon Bundy, Cliven Bundy’s son, told WND - a "news" site that I believe stands for "What Negro's Do" - that the quotes were taken out of context and that his father was commiserating over the poor situation in which blacks find themselves because of oppressive government programs, regulations and practices.

Hey, here's an idea! What if we get about a couple of hundred thousand black people who are in "poor situations" by "oppressive government" to get up and go move in with the Bundy's on their big-assed ranch? I'm sure they'd be welcome with open arms! They can loll around on the large porches.

Meanwhile, there's this guy.

This guy sounds like he's demented. Yet another reason why old guys shouldn't date/marry young women. Are you listening Donald Trump?
