Priming the Pump, part Whatever

Here we go again with yesterday's primary results...

Florida:
Current governor Ron DeathSentence is term-limited, so there were races in both party's primaries to replace him. On the Republican side, Byron Donalds (endorsed by Pedo McYamTits) won the primary. On the Dem side, David Jolly - a former Republican who switched parties - beat the other contenders. This will be interesting to watch, since both candidates could be considered conservative.
For Senate, progressive Angie Nixon managed to beat Alex Vindman, who had a very large profile after his testimoney to Congress during the first impeachment hearings. Republican Ashley Moody - the current assigned replacement for Marco Rubio - won the chance to make it official.

Alaska:
Alaska's primaries are interesting, because the primaries do not take party into account. The top vote-getters for each race advance to the General Election, which could mean Rep v Rep or Dem v Dem. For the open Senate seat, the top two were a Republican and a Democrat, with the Dem getting about 5% more than the Rep. This could be a seat flip for the Dems. For Governor, the top two were Dems, with 42% of the vote combined.

Wyoming:
Who cares? about 100K voted in the Republican primary, and just over 10K voted in the Dem primary.

That's it for this week - only four more states to go before November.
