I've got little to say right at the moment. Actually, that isn't completely true, I just don't know what to say. It's a beautiful first day of March here in Virginia, but I am hearing that some areas are getting slammed with a bit of the white stuff.....

Hit me with something new!

I have to wonder if Thom is moving then is Steph moving too? And why are they moving a tried and true show to a different time slot? And what's going to happen to Randi's show which now airs from 3-6?

So Thom is moving to a live air time of 3-6. Does randi air live at the 3 pm EST slot?

Yeah.. I guess it was going around for an hour on the back channels before it was confirmed. All they're saying is "natural causes" too which probably means a heart attack or some sudden illness.

I will not stoop to this level, but I think it bears remembering the kind of man Brietbart showed himself to be.

I am not willing to go off decorum. I am, however, willing to remember his words.

Andrew Breitbart, a Washington Times columnist who oversees Breitbart.com and BigHollywood.com, tapped into the anti-Kennedy vein in the hours after the senator’s death was announced, posting a series of Twitter messages in which he called Kennedy a “villain,” a “duplicitous bastard” and a “prick.”

"I'm more than willing to go off decorum to ensure THIS MAN is not beatified,” Breitbart wrote. “Sorry, he destroyed lives. And he knew it."

According to TMZ

Breitbart's father-in-law told reporters Andrew was walking near his Brentwood home around midnight when he collapsed.

The father-in-law says someone saw Andrew collapse and called paramedics ... who raced to the scene and tried to revive him. Breitbart was transported to UCLA Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

According to reports, Breitbart suffered from heart problems last year

The complaint centers on the the handling of the shares of William A Niskanen, a former chairman of the Cato Institute, following his death October 26, 2011, The lawsuit also name Cato’s president Edward Crane and a board member, according to court documents obtained by The Washington Post.

I will not stoop to his or the rest of the Right Wing's level either, as 43 is much too young to go, and he left his wife and children. And I won't stoop to the Freepers' level who are already saying Obama did it.

Meh

Anyway, the rest of my weeks' plans have gone to pot. I was supposed to do some testing in Andover tonight, but because of the snow, it will get postponed until tomorrow night. And because we lost a bit of time getting my EMC chamber installed, the crew wants to work Saturday, so I need to be at work then too and my wife has already scheduled my Saturday night.

I'm hoping that by the end of next week, the installation is complete and no more long drives to Andover.

Anger and rage -- and hate -- can cause serious problems mentally and physically. Maybe he simply had a heart attack. Only those that are greater than us can say whether or not his public aura caused his demise.

I feel badly that he has a widow. There are 4 children without a father. His family lost someone they loved.

That said, he was a public figure to me,and his public persona attacked people like myself as un-American. He called people like myself rapists.

I don't have a lot of sympathy for the public figure who used hate speech from that platform.

I am not sad at the passing of the public figure known as Andrew Breitbart.

I have hope that Brietbart's style of 'journalism' finally meets its demise. That includes his protege, James O'Keefe.

Good day everyone. When I got online and saw the postings on facebook about Breitbart's demise, all I could say is that it does look like Karma payback is a bitch and Satan must be having fun sticking forks in his ass. Interesting that Breitbart left behind wife and kids considering the other rumors about him. But obviously we can see what a diet of booze and blow can do.

As for Thom Hartmann's move to 3, it will compete with Randi although I only can listen to the show live on the internet and Free Speech TV the current way. The move may have also been to accommodate Ed Schultz since Dial Global also syndicates his show and that would give Dial Global a 12 hour live block of progressive talk with Bill Press, Stephanie Miller, Ed, and then Thom.

Comment by livingonli on 03/01/2012 17:28:41
Both WWRL and Sirius XM have been airing the show on delay at 3 PM although this will suck since he will be live against Randi although WWRL airs Randi on delay at 6 PM.

Well I will use streaming to seek out the shows that fit my schedule I suppose.

I loveThom, but I love Randi abit more.

It is going to suck if Ed is the only show at Noon although I can catch the end of Sam Seder's show at that time.

Rush pontificated about the death of his friend. This I can totally understand.

And then he went off the rails.
But at ten o'clock last night people were talking to him on the phone and two hours later he keels over on the sidewalk in his neighborhood in Brentwood. He'll be missed by a lot of people. I will say one thing that happened to him. The Pigford thing. That was the Shirley Sherrod case. That was the USDA. The Pigford settlement. This is where all those black farmers scored big on the federal government for past discrimination way, way back. They just tried to find as many people as they could that had never been farmers; family had never been farmers. It was one of his highlights of his career. But I noted change in him over the years, and I think this is a life lesson.

Over the years, the whole thing he was involved in seemed to lose some of the fun factor as the intensity and the seriousness of it picked up.
