DJ, has his own internet talk radio station, so I think, to a certain extent, he's promoting that - and it's a fun station (Roach Radio). The stuff I do is just a hobby - his bits are actually well produced! I'll email you DJ's email address, Raine. Hopefully he'll take the invitation - and we can consolidate all the fan sites with cross links and contributions!!

Hey Bob, she said that in order to get to know the candidates you have to go hear them speak, otherwise all you get is the sound bites on the news. I told her I live out in the boonies and it's a long way into town. She then asked rhetorically if Democracy was not important enough to be inconvenienced enough to drive to hear a candidate. ...... and she cut me off

Unfortuately, the candidates websites do not always deal with specifics (see McCain's site) They, with the exception of John Edwards, make general statements about what needs to be done but say NOTHING about how to achieve those goals. According to Stephanie, you have to go to an event to hear the specifics from the candidates mouth.

**Exclusive**(<---------- From Drudge, take from it what you will)
Republican presidential hopeful John McCain has confided to his inner circle that Hillary Clinton may yet be the Democratic nominee, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned, a development the senator from Arizona would personally welcome!
"Look, I know something about long odds, they had me written off last summer," McCain explained over the weekend, according to a top source.
McCain would prefer to go up against Clinton in the general election, insiders reveal.
He has instructed his campaign staff to "chill out" on countering Hillary Clinton's torrent of claims and promises as primary voting comes to an end over the next 6 weeks.
McCain made the tactical decision to downplay Clinton's tale of Bosnia sniper fire, leaving some McCain staffers frustrated and perplexed.
Instead, the critical focus has been on Barack Obama. McCain's official website features 14 press releases taking on Obama since the first of the year, only 3 for the former first lady.

Shano, where are you getting WB Bugs Bunny audio from? I've tried to snag it a few years ago and couldn't find any online. Though now I have Audio Hijack, can you find it online?
I'm not familiar with Audio Hijack - but I assume it allows you to record whatever is playing on your computer. If so, just go over to YouTube. A lot of the Looney Tunes bits are there. For the "Duck Season, Wabbit Season" the link is
here.
And on the scroll to the right, when you pull that clip up, is a list of other WB clips.

It doesn't matter, it seems to me that She made a big mistake in her mocking of Barack. I really REALLY wish he didn't make those Annie OAkley comments.
he dropped down to her level, I think.

It's either a damned if you do, damned if you don't or a win-win situation.
If he'd responded in too "gentle" a fashion he would have been branded as soft - not up to the criticism. By getting a tad tacky, he could apologize for how his initial response.
That way he shows he *can* give as good as he gets and he's a bigger man because he can also turn around and admit his words were over the top.

we should get some rye for the occassion!
Speaking of booze and Virginny, may I suggest one of two things. First get booze before everybody leaves. Two when we are in DC, we go to one of the many fine booze emporia in the city. Virginny has state run ABC stores. Expensive!

Shane-O,
Could you help me with a clip of Chris's newest favorite drop (and help me post it on my blog?) You know the drop I'm talking about - The old man who goes to buy a piece of fruit with a coupon only to return it to complain, and watch the line of impatient people form behind him. Please just let me know - I am working on a post highlighting the new doings in Stephlandia (great new drop, the live blog, Stephipedia, FourFreedoms, etc...) you can reach me at mfh913@gmail.com. Thanks mucho!
Cheers,
mfaye :D
