I just wanna say that I care about you all. I got some devastating news about my besties family yesterday. Out of respect for the family, I won't go into detail.
Hug the ones you love. Reach out and see if they are ok. Things could change in an instant.
Oh and fuck COVID and all the people that enabled this to become such a horrible disaster. I should be on a plane today to be with my friend and her family -- I can't even get in a car and drive. NY has all but banned Marylanders from the state.
Let's get this week rolling.

I'm upset because I couldn't see my baby brother on his 50th birthday the other day. It is birthday week in these parts, but it pales in comparison to what you're experiencing, Raine.
Covid aside - travel restrictions? Massachusetts essentially has a "Papers, please" policy for any visiting this Commonwealth from Covidistan. Yes, I don't want anyone to die or be a disease vector (with some exceptions), but I can't help wonder if there is anything to go "back" to when it's all done.

I took my sister shopping yesterday. While many wore masks, some did not have masks over their noses. I even saw a few people walking around the Southwest Side of Chicago without masks.
I fear that Joe Biden, after his election, will likely have to start a national lockdown.
