Off to camp in a little bit. We have 3/5 of the kitchen team for the week. Our dishwasher is only a sometimes presence, but our Head Chef is down for the count. He was in and out of the hospital last weekend with heart trouble - so we've got a heavier than usual lift this week.
This camp has notoriously poor internet coverage, so I will be mostly off-the-grid for the coming week. Sometimes I can connect at the top of the hill at the dining hall.

SCOTUS granted a request by Trump to narrow the scope of nationwide injunctions imposed by judges so that they apply only to groups and individuals that sued. Birthright citizenship proposal can move forward in states that challenged it as well as those that did not.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Supreme Court preserves key part of Affordable Care Act's free preventive health care coverage requirements.
I have to wonder if the Supreme Court can become more unpopular.
I have a sense that everything Trump and the conservatives are building is on the edge of collapse. I worry about the collateral damage.
As for myself, I hope to get the compensation for my totaled car soon. As things stand, I will likely be ordering in groceries for my new place after I move in.

BREAKING: The Supreme Court ruled public schools must allow opt-outs from any lesson parents believe will interfere with their child's religious development, including LGBTQ-themed materials.
