Is it ever enough? Author: TriSecDate:11/08/2025 10:46:38
Good Morning.
I'm sure you've heard tell of Elon Musk becoming the world's first trillionaire.
On paper, at least - it's not real money.
One Trillion is one of those large, abstract numbers that is difficult to wrap your head around. Nevertheless, we will try.
$1,000,000,000,000.00
Let's first look on a global scale. The current population of the globe is "over 8 billion people.". Since math is easier with round numbers, we'll use that 8,000,000,000 figure.
Elon now has enough money to give every man, woman, and child on Earth $125 each.
Next, let's think on a more universal scale.
The universe is estimated to be somewhere around 13.5 billion years old. So, if Elon started collecting a salary the moment after the Big Bang (remember, he's not actually worked a day in his life), that would calculate out at an annual rate of $72.46 for each and every year that time and space itself has existed.
The global median income is difficult to pinpoint precisely, but estimates suggest half the world's population lives on less than approximately $6.85 to $7.56 per day
Hello, bloggers!!! I hope that everyone is well!!!
I used to say that we are in Gilded Age 2.0 - less interesting oligarchs but better toys. Now, I am tempted to say welcome to these New Dark Ages.
As for myself, work is busy. I am often at work before the blog is posted. I have some good news in that my surgery has been approved but I am waiting on a date.
