She left us on a Tuesday. Immediately, there was an empty place where a person once was. Since that day, that space is being refilled with all of the good things she did to lift others up in this world. Why did she do these things? Because she could. Why could she? She came from nothing but a family who taught her love and kindness.

One thing in particular stands out. She didn't tell us that she helped to fund the mRNA vaccine when she made the video. Earlier this month, Moderna and Merck announced that the very mRNA technology she helped fund may be curing cancer. She lived this mantra “Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.”

Living a life that continues to shine once they are no longer mortal is beautiful. It's a type of beauty that is otherworldly.
