The Burden
Author: Raine    Date: 03/19/2026 12:54:48

"I carried this secret for as long as I did because building the movement and securing farmworker rights was my life’s work. The formation of a union was the only vehicle to accomplish and secure those rights and I wasn’t going to let Cesar or anyone else get in the way. I channeled everything I had into advocating on behalf of millions of farmworkers and others who were suffering and deserved equal rights.

I have never identified myself as a victim, but I now understand that I am a survivor — of violence, of sexual abuse, of domineering men who saw me, and other women, as property, or things to control."
Dolores Huerta, March 18, 2026

She's now 96 and was forced to give birth to 2 children as a result of rape. I said forced because abortion was not legal at the time. It is always the burden of the survivors to stay silent. Stay silent even when your rapist has their name on streets, schools, libraries, etc.

Imagine that.

Now imagine thousands of children and women having to bear the burden of having to stay silent so they can live, even with the fear of the perpetrator coming back to abuse them again, emotionally and physically.

This is why it is so important for everything to be released surrounding Epstein, TSF and every abuser in those files.

Right now, someone else is being abused.

No one should have to bear that burden.
