Good Monday morning. After reading TriSec's weekend blog it got me thinking about the 2 Americas. After spending time this weekend with dear high school friends, I generally agree that we have divisions but sometimes nuance and context is important. We all were vaccinated and Bob is recovering from what little estrogen4 middle-aged women have, but I digress.

Good morning.

How's your neck of the woods this fine morn? Vaccination rates are pretty high here in the Greater Boston area. We fully re-opened, and while the tourism industry isn't exactly booming, we're running at around 75% of our 2019 numbers. Things are looking good for another month anyway. After Labor Day is anyone's guess.

We are still in danger. 'TFG' is out of office but his deeply hate-filled ideology is still out there. January 6 2021 was building up for over a year. In many ways, I feel it was just the beginning of an insurgency, not a moment in time.
