Lot's of stuff -- and I would like to separate the Wheat from the Bullcrap. Be back in a few.

Morning

wouldn't shifting wheat and bullcrap be really messy when it all sticks in one glump?

*thud*

I'm really just rather disgusted with ALL of it this morning. STILL trying to come up with something that won;t make anyone more upset than they may already be.

this is when I turn to pop culture - sometimes a break from the serious is a nice refresher and you can come back the next day when things shake out and are more focused

We are all instantly cooler when we listen to "Time Out".

Which we all should do today; it's Dave Brubeck's 90th birthday.

Is it me or is there a suspicious lack of Right wing callers on the show today?

Comment by TriSec on 12/06/2010 15:50:37

See? Like I was saying last week...the President should immediately call a press conference and point this out. Asshats.

But no, we'll cave in and "compromise" on whether or not we'll get a reacharound.

I'm not really seeing them spew much shit ANYWHERE today. Usually they are out there defending the GOP -- this? Not so much today.

Good morning folks. After two straight days of 12+ hour shifts I needed some sleep. Hopefully tomorrow I can get a new battery and that is it or I have to take the car into the shop.

Or are the oil companies playing speculation again? Interesting how the prices went up after the summer driving season. I guess it only affected me due to my several months of being carless.

Screw Jane Hamsher and all the so called progressive pundits. I am LISTENING to OUR PRESIDENT.

Maybe you should too. cause I see a lot of pundits who are NOT representing him well at all.

I believe Raine was being sarcastic. Yes, speculation is the most likely suspect.

I walked away for a few hours.

So I had the pleasure of listening to Big Ed -- who has said he is going to say the Dems should reject the *deal* --

this deal btw -- the one he hates so much -- would actually give the 99'rs 13 more months of unemployment benefits.

The 99'rs have been the people that Ed has been championing.

The right-wingers who insist on posting nasty comments should get their butts handed to them. The meanness of right-wingers lays exposed.

I'm sorry Raine, and everyone else, but I'm with Ed on this one. This deal trades just over a year of middle-class watertreading - about $21,000 per recipient - for millions of dollars that millionaires won't be paying in payroll, estate and capital gains taxes over the next two years. That's money that could be put into job creation. I'd rather let ALL these tax cuts expire than give trickle-down bullshit economics any more fuel.

And also what happens in two years? The Republicans have another game of kickball just in time for the presidential elections, and they have the added grenade in their arsenal of a president who can't even stand firm for what he believes in. I'm really at the point now where I'm just.. done.
