Voting is underway in Pakistan's legislative elections, in a tense climate marked by fears of violence and fraud. The ballot should have taken place last month but was delayed after the assassination of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto. The country is still reeling from her murder and campaigning has been low key because of concerns over security.
A suicide attack on supporters of Bhutto's party killed 47 people in a town near the Afghan border on Saturday. Overnight, five people, including an opposition candidate, were killed by gunmen in Lahore.

Its working the register at an organic, locally owned, grocery store. They have EXCELLENT cheese selections and I'll get health insurance, 20% discount, free coffee ! and get to talk to lots of people which I enjoy.

Hey VJ - congrats on the paycheck and health insurance! My temp agency has an insurance plan too. Good thing is that after I hit 40 hours (which I did last week) it kicks in and, whether I'm working for them or not, I can still pay for it. Not overly pricey - about $100ish a month.
btw, if you need an actress for your films, I'll send you my res and head shot!
Editing - whoops! I missed that you're still waiting for the news.
Good luck! I'll send positive thoughts your way!

Debates tkae time that could be better utilized by having the candidates on the ground and in town hall meetings.

The Native American Law Student Group on campus in hosting a PowWow on Friday, February 29th, but I could fly out on Saturday morning and stay the night in Columbus - it would cost me 50,000 frequent flyer miles, but I think that they are about ready to expire anyway - so it's use 'em or lose 'em. Okay, come on - we're going to work this out together. Your life is not a wreck, upside down maybe but wreck, no.
I think there are reason's people find each other ya know, cause this place right here is far more then a politcal discussion site to me. You all came into my life when I needed people the most. And granted ya'll are in different states and most of us haven't met face to face, I still consider ya friends. I've talked to ya'll about things I never talked to supposed friends and family in real life.
So it's not a wreck, maybe just a flat tire - and that can be fixed

Mrs. TriSec did not run screaming from the small towns of Belfast and Camden, Maine...and we found things like a brand-new elementary school, lovely new housing (as well as some cool-looking older places), important stuff like the hospital and doctors and dentist, and "ordinary" things like the Rite-Aid, Hannaford, and the all-important Dunkin' Donuts... All in a tiny little fishing village that brought a wee tear to my eye, since it was vaguely reminiscent of my favorite place on Earth, that being Liverpool, Nova Scotia. I'll be checking in with HR tomorrow to see where the process stands, and I have advised Mrs. TriSec to switch her classic TV viewing habits...from "I Love Lucy" to "Green Acres". This is really looking possible.
