Michelle Bachman is done. Stick a fork in her, that campaign is done. In fact, they won’t even let her ring the bell on the crazy GOP Road to the White House train anymore. I think Cain may have elbowed his way to that job. Bachmann has done the unthinkable, her polling numbers are below that of Ron Paul’s (the Republican candidate who shall not be named or even looked at).



In a new CBS Poll Herman Cain is now in a tie, that’s right I said TIE, for first place with Mitt Romney.



In that same poll, Cain is #1 with 22% among people who are “self described” conservatives, with Romney in the #2 position with 15%. I guess they don’t have a category for people so tightly laced they’d head’s may pop off.



I’m sorry, what? If your staff doesn’t take you seriously as a possible nomination then why are you running? Oh that’s right – you have something to sell. So it would seem Mr. Cain is only running for president, a very serious job with great benefits and sometimes soul rendering tragedy’s, to make money. Much like Mr. Gingrich and Ms. Palin, who while isn’t running has used the American voter that has, however misguidedly put their trust in her, as a toddler plays with a toy then moves on to the box it came in.

And what about Rick Perry? He lost the 11 percentage points that Cain seems to find. But his campaign is ever optimistic that it’s all “fluid”. I suspect their right, he’ll probably get a bounce from one of the more extra crispy racists who see the hunting camp and his support of the use of Confederate symbols in Texas. But let’s get back to Michele, our poor girl is still out there traveling an only slightly worn path in her red hood and basket of goodies, she's not straying from her message. She's is a True Believer in her message, I'll give her that. She’s still hoping to reach grandma’s house, calling herself "the comeback kid". Good luck Michele, you’ve got more than a couple of big bads to get past if you really want to face President Obama for the race in 2012.
