It was first conceived as a simple improvised song while Page and Robertson were counsellors at a summer music camp. On the way home from camp, Robertson played the tune for the campers, randomly listing amusing things he would buy with a million dollars.
Mr Perry had claimed, as he has before, that in early drafts of a book, Mr. Romney had proposed that the Massachusetts health-care program should be a model for a national plan. Several news organizations, including PolitiFact.com, a nonpartisan fact-checking group, have called this claim inaccurate.
“I’ve made million dollar bets with my friends, and I think the reason that Mitt made that wager is because he knew that Rick Perry wouldn’t take it,” said Eric Fehrnstrom, a senior advisor to the Romney campaign. “And he was right.”

Morning
Last night, while watching the Pres on 60 Minutes and a snippet of the Buffet story too, we had to wonder if this whole thing isn't New Money vs Old Money.
New Money, IMO, has a tendancy to be greedy. Grabbing for as much as it can like a toddler and toys
Old Money, IMO, seems to understand they didn't get there on their own, can spread it around and still understand the will make more.

So...idle thought now that the Occupy Boston camp has been swept away.
Regardless of where you stand on the Occupy movement, would you agree or disagree that under the same Constitution that gave the right to peaceable assembly and redress of grievances, should the camps have been able to arm themselves to defend against police actions just like this?
I should pose that to some of my right-wing friends. Heads may explode, but then again they may not.

Retail Notes:
It's been freakishly quiet at the store. I'm getting a little worried, actually. This is my 4th peak season there, and this has been the weakest of them all. This year we hired a mountain of seasonal folks expecting a rush (70!), but we've been overstaffed the last week or so.
Next weekend is the last full before the holiday....either we get sacked by Visigoths, or this season is going to be a disaster. I don't know where the 'experts' are getting all their holiday sales data, but it sure ain't LL Bean.

I think of the Kennedy's, the Buffet's, Rockefeller's, etc... but then the accpetion to the rule would be Bill Gates

If I may quote, "I'm Nevou (sp) riche, but it is the riche that counts."
More that if it is new or old, it is the values that you come with that make how you handle the money.

I have on a thinsulate-insulated sweatshirt right now, and my Primaloft snowshoe boots (albeit with cotton socks.) I have dispensed with the base layer today, but I have worn some to the office in the past.
I swear, I feel warmer camping outdoors in January than sitting here at my desk some days.

OK, so I spend hours at the store cursing the lousy Christmas music that gets piped in. Once again, Paul McCartney is my bitterest foe. So....I load up my own iPod with what this morning?
Hey, at least it's all jazz and symphonic...Vince Guaraldi, here I come!

I'm sorry; I am simply NOT having a wonderful Christmas time!

Jackels are rather nasty brutish critters, not unlike Brietbart himself. Poor Glenn, yeah he's roadkill. It the metaphor obivous enough now?

um - just listening to Nicole filling in for Randi - why is it a punishment to sit next to a large size person on a plane? Do people not realize that most people who are large and need to fly are embarassed and usually humiliated because they airlines have an shrunk the seats, made it unpleasent to travel and the general attitude of the traveling public?

Mala -- I do agree. I really wasn't in a position to say that today. I was really quiet for that reason.

I would actually just use the arguement that Zombies don't eat other zombies. But that's just me
