Morning all.

First, basketball.

Prior to the daily post, as requested, a post regarding the Unofficial SMS March Madness Tourney.

Still haven't gotten around to making my picks, but promise to get to it today. I'm still determined to go with the Hoosiers over the Tarheels - deathknell that it may be for my brackets. Thanks for the YouTube clips - something to keep me entertained tonight :D

Hey there Shane-O,

Sorry to be a pain in the butt, but I accidentally entered the group twice. I guess I have two different yahoo user names - something I didn't even realize until this morning ;( Anyway, if you'd like to go ahead and delete the "Radical Bracket" that has no selections go ahead - I couldn't figure out how to delete it. Again, I'm sorry.

No worries at all, Faye. Yesterday I did see that you had two brackets - and if you want to enter two, no prob. Now, the only remaining one is the "Radical Bracket" - so I don't want to delete that!

I think that if you have the "group" toolbar on top you can click on "leave group" - if you want to delete a bracket.

Sorry it's such a pain in the :butt:, BUT that's Yahoo for ya... (hoo?)

Well, I checked the group standings. I have 20 points and the leader has 25, so maybe I'm not doing all that bad. This is different than football, so I may be delusional in my thinking because I really don't know what it all means. It's probably best!

USC killed me, so onward we go with UCLA. And I'm not the only one who chose this fine team. Woo hoo!

My alma mater didn't make it in, but it is a UC, so that's why I went with UCLA. That and because they have a good team this year. I should have known better than to depend on the school for spoiled children.

I have a feeling that the Duke loss screwed with a lot of peoples' brackets - mine included too.

I guess that Coach K was pretty ill - a report that he had a fever of 104 degrees on Thursday. That can't help.

As much as I despise Duke basketball, I hope Coach K gets well soon... He's one of the best.

"This Tournament is DEAD to me, Dead I tell you!" First the Hoosier fell, then last night was the true deathknell for my bracket - the Proud Panthers of Pittsburgh lost to the Spartans of Michigan State - I am soooo out of it...

Thanks Shane-O for a fun, but short little run - i'll still be watching the games today as pointless as it may be for me, it beats eating green eggs

Yeah, ULCA was so close... good thing they don't have Super Delegates in deciding these contests...

mFaye - The Pitt loss was tough - not for just you. Obama had them in the Final Four too - so, you're in good company! (I had Pitt going to the Elite Eight - my old addage of voting against the Big Ten in the Tourney didn't work out there!)

I've done perfect in the East and South brackets... but my West and Midwest? :thud:

I might be able to get a few more points if UCLA wins one more, but then I am done there. We'll see how the East and South play out...
