Until I get to writing today's blog, please send out good thoughts for a speedy recovery to our Tri-Sec. He was admitted to the hospital last night for appendicitis and will be having surgery this morning.

Tri, even though he isn't a Marine is a Semper Fi kinda guy. Jim (the BFF) said Tri had been in pain for a couple days. Ouch.

I am sorry to hear about TriSec. I can step up for Saturday, but I would like to know if people want something serious or more light hearted. (Weekend blogs can vary.)
Nicole Sandler is in for Randi Rhodes today. (Hmm, maybe she can sneak some of BobR's music on the air.)

As far as Fud Lion goes, they are not missed in the Sunshine State. This is the grocery chain that had potted meat and head cheese on one side of endcap. On the other side, a wide selection of snuff and chewing tobacco.

Interesting that Stop & Shop is on the list. Pathmark was listed as being under the parent umbrella of A&P -- and yet Giant wasn't with regard to Stop and shop, they are the same chain, just different names.
I am still a fan of the Kroger and Publix. I gotta say they do a good job.

So along offending vestigial organ, they removed mass and a section of colon. Tri is going to be the hospital for about 4-5 day while they figure out what the hell is up with the mass. A friend in California found out that her brother has cancer and it looks very bad. So, I am particularly worried about our TriSec tonight.

I did think A&P owned Waldbaum's but I guess not anymore since they now own Pathmark.
