Romney Ryan Voters
Author: velveeta jones    Date: 09/30/2012 14:38:48

Maybe that should be Ryan - Romney voters. Either way, here is what they look and sound like:

Look, there's always something you can do. You telling me people can't make a choice for a better life? We have to help all of them? No. I'll tell you what really need to do with these illegitimate families on welfare—give all the kids up for adoption and execute the parents. Yes, I mean it. Get rid of all of them, give the kids up for adoption, execute the parents, and you get rid of the problem.

Clifford Russell, runs the Romney campaign HQ in Bedford, Va.

Even Clint is jumping on the bandwagon.

Paul Ryan standing next to his buddy - the forcible rape guy. (Do we really need to name him and promote him. Can't we just let him fade into history)?

At least they used spellcheck this time.

Today's WaPo really sums up what his voters and staff want you to think. Poor Mittens. He only got rich so he could be a public servant. He's really, frugal. Yes, that's right dammit. He is a very FRUGAL man. He only has one elevator for his cars. Jeez.

When Mitt Romney was a young man, his father gave him direct advice: “He said never get involved in politics if you have to win election to pay a mortgage,” Romney often says. “Financial independence was key.”

The son followed this advice so successfully that he made a fortune, retired in 1999, turned to public service and has never taken a salary since.

But the wealth intended to liberate Romney the politician instead has ensnared him. He hoped it would free him; for many voters, it now seems to define him.

Democrats have relentlessly cast him as a corporate raider and out-of-touch plutocrat. And Romney, after more than a year running for president, has made one comment after another that inadvertently reinforces those characterizations.

Something I missed in the article:
When Romney goes to the movies, he pops a bag of his own popcorn at home, stuffs it into his wife’s purse and sneaks it into the movie theater so he doesn’t have to buy a snack he considers overpriced.

Wow. No one likes how much movies charge, but I would like to think that he'd play by the rules set by the theater! This is a guy who can buy his own theater chain.

Succint and amazing, Vel.

Morning, comrades.

Brother TriSec has his results...they found a precancerous polyp. But he went in because of me, otherwise he'd be in the same boat. (No detection until something bad happened.) And he's 4 years younger than me, so even longer to wait before the "prescribed" screening at age 50.

"Dear AMA....I think you got this one wrong."

As bad as Romney and Ryan are, their supporters and others in the Republican party are worse. They're not even trying to hide their stupidity and hatred anymore.

He is such an epitome of the worst of the top 1% and his supporters seem to be proud of taking up the worst redneck stereotypes.

TriSec, I am glad to hear that your brother got tested.

Velveeta, thanks for a great blog. I fear that this incarnation of the GOP has gone so far of the deep end that they may do America and the world a service by going the way of the Whigs.

'Tis a bittersweet day out at the virtual hangar.

After years of yeoman service, I have finally decided to retire "The Maddowan" and send her off to the Virtual New England Air Museum.

That said, I have acquired a Douglas A-20 "Boston" that will be taking on the role of "Blog Flagship". She may yet still be "The Maddowan", but I'm also looking for another name.

The Flying Fourtress?

It's one of those days where I just feel like sleeping.

And I've got the A-20 kitted out with a modern panel and correct Wright R-2600 engines (sound at least).

She's flying like a homesick angel.

"Rachel's Raider"?

"IAVA Got Your Back"?

"Veteran's Voice"?

"Mama's Men"?

Or maybe just "The Maddowan" Both Chuck Yeager and Dick Bong went through many aircraft and kept the same name. (Glamorous Glennis, and Marge)
