Morning After Stubbie Author: ScoopsterDate:11/07/2012 11:48:59
Woke up late this morning.. big surprise! So I figured I'd get things started here early.
Just heard a report on Morning Joe that the GOP Senate leaders are meeting with "outside groups in the beltway" to start looking for candidates for 2014 that "can win"..
Here's a clue for Mitch McConnell - it's not your candidates that makes you lose. It's your archaic oppressive ideology.
I shall be gleefully and spitefully defacing any number of right-wing toolbags today. I don't need to listen to this shite anymore.

Just reported on NECN...
Mitt Romney's loss in Massachusetts is the largest defeat in a home state of any candidate ever. He didn't even win Belmont!

I turned on the local RW "sports" show expecting to hear ranting and whining. But I didn't expect it to be as creative as it was. I suspect the "Powers that Be" at Entercom specifically told Dennis & Callahan to lay off the political talk this morning.
The rant had little to do with the President race though, it had more to do with Rep. John Tierney and his race with Richard Tisei. Tierney's family has been tied to an illegal gambling ring and went to prison for it.
Fatty & The Forehead brought up just about every instance where a Boston team was screwed or just came up short where you knew they meant to bring up Tisei's name.(and not bring up Tierney's corruption or the perceived MA Democratic machine politics.
I suspect they'll be whining about Obama and Warren later, but I'm lucky I'm at work so I don't have to hear it.

Damn
I allowed myself ONE lousy beer last night. I could barely stumble to my bed around midnight and when Lucky gave me a "nighty night" nudge a bit later and I turned to pet him, I just got waves of nausea. WTF.
Feel much better than I thought I would this morning, though.
I had forgotten how much the media around here was going to fellate Willard since he supposedly "lives" here. It was rather sickening.
