I would love that, but then our hourly people wouldn't get paid and they need the money. Sucks though phones are dead, all deliveries are done (the worked on Saturday to get them done early). I've got work to do but really would like to be at home getting some baking done.

I would love that, but then our hourly people wouldn't get paid and they need the money. Sucks though phones are dead, all deliveries are done (the worked on Saturday to get them done early). I've got work to do but really would like to be at home getting some baking done.

If only we armed Firefighters....
At least two Webster firefighters are dead, and three houses on Lake Road continue to burn after one or more gunmen open fired on firefighters who responded to an early morning fire, officials said.
Two other firefighters are in guarded condition at Strong Memorial Hospital with gunshot wounds, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
There are no active shooters at the scene, according to a news conference held at 9:40 a.m. by Sheriff Patrick O’Flynn.
The fire broke out at 5:45 a.m. at 191 Lake Road on the Irondequoit Bay side of the street.

Pastry shells are done - all they need is guava and whipped cream filling, which I will do moments before heading out this evening.
I'll be headed to my ancestral homeland soon to see a dear friend and my mum...she's alone this year. ("Auntie Mean" has headed to Florida for the duration, and my brother drove down to his inlaws straight-through on Thur/Fri.)
Anyway....I'll be a little scarce over the next 48 hours or so. (And back to treatment Wednesday.

Good morning, bloggers!!! TriSec, the firing on firefighters is near Rochester, New York. It is a shame, and I hope that the police have some leads.
I hope that everyone is doing well. I am running errands and have company over. As the only practicing Jew in my immediate family besides Mom, December is a strange time. I will have gifts for the great nephews and my great niece Emily Rose, age 2, who is spending her first Christmas NOT in a children's hospital.
