Morning, comrades!

It's my birthday, and I'm not wearing any pants.

Must be catching. My brain is almost totally unresponsive this morning. Even after multiple infusions of caffeine.

Oh....Happy Birthday Tri!!!

But at least the power is on.....cowers in fear as I just get a display driver error

Comment by TriSec on 08/08/2013 13:53:08
*grunt*

Of course, the drawback in being the house chef is that I have to cook my own birthday dinner. (but we're going out Sunday.)

So we have Supremes de Volaille a Brun, a garden-fresh Ratatouille and buttered noodles....

And of course an award-winning California Riesling cooling its heels in the fridge already.

Good to know. How do your family members or coworkers feel about the lack of pants?

Happy birthday, Tri!

Mrs. TriSec is regrettably sitting in a jury pool at the moment, discharging her civic duty.

I am working from home today.

So posing an idea for next year - Any one ever heard of GISHWHES?

Registration is closed for this year but it might be fun to put together a team for next year.

Good morning, folks. Up a little early because I have to be in at 1 PM to work the Mets game in SNY today.

And of course, Happy Birthday to TriSec.

I think I have run out of energy to do emoticons these days.

Auuuugh! Scavenger hunts make me all twitchy.

(Ask me about the famed "Siege of the C.I.T. Lodge" during the Arrow of Light 'staff hunt' about 20 years back now. I still have flashbacks.)

Nah that's just because its a transient area. Fans like the players they hate the owner, they used to love the owner when it was the very colorful and not very appropiate Jack Kent Cook.

At least I know once Momma goes off Current TV just before it becomes Al-Jazeera America, I can still listen to the show on XM which went back to carrying the whole show live on satellite radio. Now, I just hope I get the channel that will pick up her show after.

I'm thinking she might show up on Free Speech TV, that's where Bill Press is headed Sept 3rd.

Dear America,

When the person tells you that the client database is down and your account can't accessed, what does that mean to you? That you pointlessly try to extend the conversation despite being told your account information can not be viewed? NO IT MEANS CALL BACK LIKE YOU POLITELY ASKED TO DO! IS THIS SO HARD FUCKNUTS?

Interesting although at 8 AM, Free Speech TV airs Democracy Now! Live. Adding Momma to the lineup would move it to a delayed telecast at Noon. Free Speech TV already airs Thom Hartmann so it might make sense for it to pickup the other progressive talk simulcasts.

Since I've lost my taste for Krispy Kremes I don't know what we would debate Tim Horton's vs Dunkies vs local bakeries?

Comment by TriSec on 08/08/2013 15:42:06
Ah, if there was a Tim Horton's in closer proximity, I would go there.

I've found one in South Portland (ME), and a handful on the South Shore probably a good 30 miles from here.

It's easier to go home to Kane's.

They have Tim Horton's in Penn Station and I think there's one near the Nassau Coliseum here in the Metro area.
