After a hectic weekend, yours truly is staying in bed for the day. I may even watch football. 
What's there to discuss anyway? Our republican friends are intent on bringing down the ACA one way or another; even if it means hurting their friends on wall street. Sucks to be them right now.

I'm looking forward to at least a fortyburger being dumped on the Pats by the Saints, so maybe someone in power will insist a Head Coach/GM is no longer a good idea.
Got the Spot Lifter out cleaning up untold numbers of spots of food all over the apartment that my little friend sprayed out of his mouth instead of swallowing it.

Sophie and Cleo are making it much easier for us to cope, Raine. I KNOW I did the right thing for him at the end, but I also know I need to be more observant, because with both Sophie and Cleo being overweight, the same could happen to them. I hate to say this but I don't know how much longer I could have done the feedings because by the time I was done, it was time for bed and I had to get up even earlier than before. It was affecting work.
It was a very rough last year or so for him, having to wear a cone and bandages around his neck for a long time because he kept ripping his fur out then this last illness.
I've been spending time just looking at old pictures and remembering.
I might regret this, but I'm going to look at pictures we took of him yesterday, many of them looked pretty good actually.
Oh GOD I shouldn't have done that! Fuck! I don't regret my decision for a second now. He's so yellow.....

It's just weird to think that the Giants are the Jags are the only teams now without a win. And I guess once people's expectations of the Jets start to look up that there are ways to bring that down to earth.

Hi all.
An amazing last day on the pond for kayak season. We had a Girl Scout troop out with us, and surprisingly enough, one of their scouts was scared and skittish, and yes, she cried like a little girl.
I am extremely grantified to report that I talked her off the cliff, and she wound up having a great class after all.
I never should have wound up in insurance - today confirms beyond the shadow of a doubt that I have indeed missed my calling. I should have been a teacher.
