Putting this up there.

Yes another Monday with not much to see. Looks like Mr. Christie is being investigated for his use of Sandy Funds. I'm reading that West Virginia may be lifting the water ban (unsure if that is the most prudent thing to do).

We have a deal with Iran -- this is a really big story that I have been reading about this morning.

Today the Supreme court will be discussing the Presidents Execetive appointments. This is the big one to watch for today.

My nephew is doing fine. They are still treating him as though it were a spinal infection. Thank you for the thoughts. He is alert and walking about.

Raine

Morning. I, Mondo have returned from the doctor's office. I will be going back to bed as I didn't sleep last night.

TriSec is about to pen a screed to the Boston Globe.

Did any other city have this asinine and juvenile "Pantless Subway Ride" this past weekend? Not that I care about that, mind you...Boston.com has had it front and center for days online.

Seriously, WHO THE FUCK CARES?????

Good day, folks. Bloggie seems quiet today, and I didn't sleep well because I am still sore from falling on the ice, and I have slept like shit the last few days that I feel like I am going to shut down.

If you're still not feeling well Liv a trip to the Doc's maybe in order. Or at the very least take a couple of motrin.

Re: Chris Christie's alleged misuse of Sandy relief funds..

From what I understand the question came up because he produced some kind of 'Jersey's Comeback' TV spots to promote tourism for the state, but the timing of the spots during an election cycle and the fact that his family are in the video with him made them look like nice-guy campaign ads.

On this one I don't think the intent was there, but it sure as hell came out looking that way. And you have to wonder why this is just coming out into the news cycle now that Christie's star is falling into a corruption spiral.

Say DC folks - do things happen down there over New Year's, or is the city buttoned up tight? I just noticed the way the holidays fall this year, and I'm plotting.

(I put in for some days in the spring already for Woodbadge, and I scrolled through the summer to look at camp week and birthday week, and kept on looking.)

I blded what you said and would even agree with you if it weren't for stories like this.

I still believe that rebuilding should have been spent before using money to create tourism ads. I would even wager that the State could have gotten a grant from the government for tourism, instead of using Aide funds.

I hated those ads, they were played in our market at ALL THE DAMN TIME.

Dear Boston Globe:

Oh for the love of Christ, can we FUCKING JUST STOP!!! In fact, cancel my damn subscription - I've decided to subscribe to Playboy instead. The stories are better written, and the photography is much better, too.

NOBODY CARES THAT MORONS FORGOT THEIR PANTS ON THE SUBWAY!!!

Christie is done.

New Jersey Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg (D) provided a letter to TPM on Monday showing that she attempted to alert Gov. Chris Christie ® about lane closures on the George Washington Bridge in September, just six days after the lanes reopened.

The letter gets to the heart of one of the major unanswered questions in a scandal that has erupted from the closures: what did Christie know and when did he know it?

The lanes were closed on Sept. 9 and re-opened again on early on the morning of Sept. 13. Weinberg, whose district includes part of Fort Lee, N.J., which saw days of traffic gridlock because of the closures, wrote the letter on Sept. 19.

The letter was addressed to William Pat Schuber, a commissioner of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which oversees the bridge, expressing her dismay about the lane closures. She also copied Christie on it.

I don't think it needs saturation coverage in the local media.

Oh look at this shit -- WOMEN are to blame for Chris fucking Christie.

BRIT HUME: Well, I would have to say that in this sort of feminized atmosphere in which we exist today, guys who are masculine and muscular like that in their private conduct, kind of old-fashioned tough guys, run some risks.
