Alone at the office. Everyone's on the road except me.

Trisec hereby declares mornings illegal in this Empire.

I lived for those days, now I'm on the same floor as everyone else and the other departments never leave!

they don't try to fix it to make it run do they - the car is in horrible condition - 1993 Chrysler Acclaim half rust and half green paint that needs a new fuel tank among other things.

If she'd rather get cash, she could sell it to a junkyard for parts.

That's a good idea too. It could go toward a cheap new used car later.

Ya know, Krugman's column today really hits home... in a very disturbing way.

I don't try to hide the fact that I've read Ayn Rand extensively and repeatedly. Yeah I know, there's something seriously fucked in my head. Anyways, her two most well-known works The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged both have a common element - crumbling infrastructure. And where it's not rotting into disrepair, it's been blown to pieces by characters seeking to protect their own self-righteous, selfish interests.

Can you see where I'm going with this yet?
