You teach a child to read, and he or her will be able to pass a literacy test. -Townsend, Tenn., Feb. 21, 2001

Do you have blacks, too?"--to Brazilian President Fernando Cardoso, Washington, D.C., Nov. 8, 2001

Families is where our nation finds hope, where wings take dream. --LaCrosse, Wis., Oct. 18, 2000

Well now you to can talk like that! Well, maybe not you, but your childrens and grandskids can and will all thanks to the Texas scool board!!!! These are the peephole that rite our children skool books you see. And they have been busy of late.

Well, they used to be focused on making sure that our kids learn that dinosuars walked the earth with Jesus. Now, we are learning that Jesus was american and helped Moses rite the constitution of the USA.

We had all seen this before right?

Well now the chldrens can learn all about how christian saved america by riting the constitution. Thanks texas!

From the article, which Ive made a few correction in:

On Friday the Republican-controlled Texas State Board of Education voted along party lines 10-5 to approve the biased and inaccurate textbooks. The vote signals a victory for Christian conservatives in Texas, and a disappointing defeat for historical accuracy and the education of innocent children.

Emile Lester, a professor of history in the Department of Political Science and International Affairs at the University of Mary Washington, {lots of book lerning for a woman. Maybe to much!} claim the textbooks contain “inventions and exaggerations” about Christianity’s influence on the Founding Fathers and, by extension, the formation of American democracy.

Credible historians warn the misguided attempt to suggest biblical origins for the Constitution would lead students to believe that “Moses was the first American.”

Well, I say you cant have it both ways. Do we want the kind of american that doesnt believe that Jesus was born in Missouri 6000 years ago and helped tame the dinosuars or the kind that believes that that we landed on the moon?

Believing in the truth, that Moses Charlton Heston founded America and we're the best country in the universe, indeed the WORLD, is just easy on the brain. I can sit back and watch the Dugger family make more children and not worry about silly global warming because well, its cold outside RITE NOW. (who are these nuts that believe this crap???) So yeah i will put another log on the fire and sit rite hear and now that the texas skool board is locking out for future generations.

George W was edjacated in Texas and he begot a 2 year presidency! Rembere when he said:
We spent a lot of time talking about Africa, as we should. Africa is a nation that suffers from incredible disease." --Gothenburg, Sweden, June 14, 2001
