If I didn't know any better I would say this is a perfect example of Poe's Law.
With that explained:

Oh, MAla — FSTV is replaying that dopey caller from yesterday taking about pay equality….

So, interesting that there will be a mayoral race runoff in Chicago.

Indeed, and the latest news is that I've FINALLY procured a Saturday badge!

Actually, New England clam chowder day was apparently back in January. Carry on.

oh, btw, I don't think the guy in the "american sniper" case got a fair trial.

I was waiting for the chowdah war to erupt. The whole chowder debate is almost as heated as the PTSD inducing donut wars of 2004-2007

Ya know, I've become quite fond of the clear broth stuff they have down here in Rhody. Not as heavy without the cream base. And no tomatoes - we save those for the marinara like they SHOULD be.

I don;t thnk there was ever a question of his guilt, but it being texas there was no way they would take into account that he was insane.
At least he's not going to the death chamber.

True, everyone knew he did it. But I think the movie and book played into it all, plus it being Texas. I don't think they got the sentence right, but your right Texas doesn't understand the shades of grey.

I love ALL chowders. Including corn.

I do agree, I think the film may have influenced the jury. It seems like the guy not only had PTSD, but was also schizophrenic.
He deserves a hospital, not jail.
