Sad blog post-mortem
Author: BobR    Date: 02/25/2015 11:54:46

Last night I wrote a blog about how stupid the Republican party is, with references to Chris Christie and Scott Walker in London, Scott Walker's and Guiliani's comments on President Obama, and a state legislator from AZ who thinks cancer is a fungus. It wasn't my best writing, but it ended with the comment "I'm not a doctor - but I play one in Congress".

I got interrupted with other things before I could save it. Big mistake.

Sometime in the wee hours of the night, Windows decided my computer needed updates installed, and then needed to be rebooted. I lost the whole thing.

I found online a way to disable that "feature" by adding a key to the registry, which is now done to prevent this from happening again.

My apologies for the lack of a blog this morning - I don't have time to rewrite it.

The second doctor had a story called "The Mind Robber", set in the 'Land of Fiction'. Methinks the TARDIS is acting up again...

If I didn't know any better I would say this is a perfect example of Poe's Law.

Ya know, I've become quite fond of the clear broth stuff they have down here in Rhody. Not as heavy without the cream base. And no tomatoes - we save those for the marinara like they SHOULD be.

Actually, New England clam chowder day was apparently back in January. Carry on.

I don;t thnk there was ever a question of his guilt, but it being texas there was no way they would take into account that he was insane.

At least he's not going to the death chamber.

Tri needs to deal with the issues within his own commonwealth — seems even they cannot agree on what day it is.

I love ALL chowders. Including corn.

True, everyone knew he did it. But I think the movie and book played into it all, plus it being Texas. I don't think they got the sentence right, but your right Texas doesn't understand the shades of grey.

Oh, Texas, I believe TOTALLY understands Shades of Grey… 50 of them…

I do agree, I think the film may have influenced the jury. It seems like the guy not only had PTSD, but was also schizophrenic.

He deserves a hospital, not jail.

Good day, folks. Another day and it does seem like today's GOP does prove what John Dean said about the authoritarian sentiment within the current right-wing.
