I am still watching and waiting to see who else tosses their hat into the ring. I enjoy a full honest open and vigorous debate for our parties nominee and that includes choice. We had that in 2008, and sadly it was quite ugly at the end. It's a relief to know that her organization has shed people like Mark Penn and other terrible advisers. I have said it before — the way she ran that last campaign really turned me off.
She was a spectacular Secretary of State and while I was put off by her hawkish stance as Candidate Clinton, I hope that experience has helped to soften her views on foreign policy. Watching our current President use diplomacy instead of saber-rattling has been wonderful to see. I want more of that.
I am also awaiting the onslaught of sexism and misogyny to be tossed her way. I have made no decision yet, but I will vote for whoever my party nominates. There are many many reasons why, including this:
And this:
There is no question that I would never ever vote for any of these potential nominees:
The sad thing is that there are people who would choose lunacy over true and real qualifications for the Office of President of the United States of America. Agree with her or not, she's got the resume and experience and she does represent going forward.
So far I've been able to avoid the shit tornado from the right-wing noise machine over Ms. Clinton's announcement. I expect that won't last long.

I remember seeing Buchholz in Pawtucket before he got brought up and I was very impressed. Too bad he has proven to be so brittle. Which makes what Pedro Martinez did even more amazing.
bRuins suck major league. I have no idea how Peter Chiarelli is still employed. Clod Julien I can still see as he at least coached the B's to a Cup.

Think we all knew she was running 4 years ago when that campaign ended.

So all we need now is for Walker and John Ellis to announce — Rubio is in.

So, with Hilary basically unchallenged, that's going to leave the GOP primary as the only interesting action. (mass has an open primary). What say you to Rand Paul? Although I could really mess with my mother-in-law's head and go with the Cruz. (viva Fidel!)

It really is sad, they used to and combined with the best ideas from the Dems we all win.

She won't be unchallenged, depending on your definition of "challenged". Former MD guv Martin O'Malley looks good to me, but he'll need some serious cash to compete on her level.

One think I like right now is that she is going from town to town on her way to Iowa. That makes Clinton for more personable than she has appeared in the past, and a economic plays for the small town she visits along the way.
and then there is this article. Right now, as I have stated, I am hoping O'Malley joins the race. I Want to be able to really scrutinize everyone possible.
Until the race got ugly, I could not really decide Clinton or Obama. Then it got mean and ugly, and well — I suspect I was not alone.

I would like a vigorous Democratic primary, as I have reservations about Hillary Clinton. She has been very close to Wall Street, even saying that criticism of Wall Street was foolish. I also question how she will explain her vote on Iraq.
