Short and sweet.

I really have little to say this morning. The GOP is crazy, as always and we are still treating Bernie Sanders like he is a fringe candidate.

Seriously, what the hell is up with that?

In much more important news, this weekend is the DC Pride Parade!

Take a look at the 2015 honorees!

and with the impending Supreme court Announcement, it is going to be exciting to see this!
While on the precipice of the Supreme Court’s decision to make same-sex marriage legal in all 50 states, the parade’s sponsor, Marriott, is going to be hosting the wedding of George Carrancho and Sean Franklin during the Pride parade on Saturday, June 13.

LGBT activist and E!’s Ross Mathews will be officiating the ceremony that will take place atop of the Marriott float on the corner P Street and 15th Street.

For over 25 years, Marriott International has been working towards marriage equality and with their #LoveTravels campaign, that encourages travelers to explore their personal passions and celebrate their inspiring stories. (snip)

If the Supreme Court votes to legalize same-sex marriage, The United States will become the 21st country in the world that allows gay and lesbian couples to marry, following most recently Ireland back in May.
Let the crazy people be crazy, I am rooting for love and equality!

It's the big 4-0!
According to Capital Pride organizers, an estimated 350,000 attendees are expected to come to the milestone Capital Pride Parade and Capital Pride Festival making it the largest LGBT-focused event of the year in the District. (Complete coverage of Capital Pride begins on page 40.)
“We’ve tried to make sure that this is as special a Pride celebration as we could possibly make it to acknowledge the fact that we have had 40 years of Pride celebrations in the nation’s capital,” said Bernie Delia, Capital Pride’s board president.
Four decades ago, the event was called Gay Day. It was a one-day event that was part street festival and part block party. Since then, Capital Pride has transformed from a one-day event to a week-plus series of events culminating with this weekend’s two-day affair with the theme of “Flashback.”

(snip)
For the second year in a row, an Armed Forces Color Guard will march in the parade. Following them will be Scouts for Equality, comprised of Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, who will be marching for the first time ever in the Capital Pride Parade.

Sounds like they're still trying to find out how they escaped, or who helped them.

There sis a lot of construction going on at the prison right now, so there is speculation all around. I am pretty sure this was done with help from someone inside.

No, the whole story WILL be made into a movie (Clint Eastwood: LOOKING AT YOU)

This story does hit close to home. It's not just the ex working there, my dad worked as an industrial training supervisor at Green haven when Donna Payent was murdered. HE was also under lock down during the 1980's prison guard strike. Green haven is Max like Clinton ( We all called it Dannemora, btw)

It seems as tho many are looking at a person (woman) who was in the same position at Clinton CF.

The thing is, the guys who escaped are REALLY, REALLY bad dudes. They would not think twice to kill again.

Dad went on to be a prison warden,

Doesn't everyone? I know I do. Dannemora is where Lucky Luciano served time on a heroin trafficking charge in the late 1920s.

And here in New York, we got our first air quality of the year, sounds like summer's here. According to the Weather Channel, we beat Atlanta in hitting the first 90-degree day.

Mum is being discharged today, but to a nursing facility. She needs more pulmonary therapy and excercisez. CT has ruled out any blood clots or other nasties.
