After a GOP primary debate in February, Rubio had implored voters to reject Trump, saying he was “wholly unprepared to be president of the United States.â€
“This is the most important government job on the planet. And we’re about to turn over the conservative movement to a person that has no ideas of any substance on the important issues,†the then-candidate said at the time. “The nuclear codes of the United States — to an erratic individual — and the conservative movement — to someone who has spent a career sticking it to working people.â€
[snip]
“I signed a pledge and said that I would support the Republican nominee and I intended to continue to do that,†Rubio insisted. “I don’t want Hillary Clinton to be the president of the United States, I don’t want her to win this election. On the other hand, I have well defined differences with the presumptive nominee of the Republican Party, and like millions of Republicans, you try to reconcile those two things.â€

BobR, thanks for a great blog. The GOP is incredibly divided.
As for Ann Coulter, I think it is unfair to the transgender to community to imply that she is one of their members. I still think that my theory that Ann Coulter is an escaped demon wearing a human suit who is imitating a woman badly has some merit. Certainly, she is quite good at demonizing others while never looking at herself.

So I went to walk on of the dgos and I come back to find I missed a pretty epic exchange between Carlos and Sue in Rockville. Did anyone else hear it?

No because Carlos talked all over Sue and much louder

I rewound FSTV, and Carlos, dammit man, stop the mansplaining.
And the *sorry, it's just the way it is* is not only a terrible excuse, it's regressive.
Wanna piss a woman off? Just say *I'm sorry, that just how it is*

I have been listening and he's doubling down.
Pretty pissed off about the entire thing. I heard him say that HRC should dress more like Elizabeth Warren. GODDAMIT!

Well that was interesting. A heated debate on Stephanie Miller with Sue from Rockville because I made the suggestion that Hilary needs to work on her branding and perhaps look at different wardrobe choices- look like a Cross Fitter and not so Equinox.Unfortunately this election cycle has little to do with substance. Sue started her argument with, "Carlos, let me do a little "Mansplainig". Well that patronizing and condescending tone did not rest two seconds with me. My yelling over her was not the most effective way of communicating (however I do find the Brits have more of a stomach for it than we do # Speakers Corner/Hyde Park OR Parliament)but neither is the assumption that just because I may not like Hilary as our Democratic choice as much as Bernie-or saying she needs to work on her brand- does not equate to misogyny. Yeah Elizabeth Warren! Deirdre was upset but in the end Helen had my back. It is never dull with "Coffee With Carlos. EVERY Wednesday from 7:30-9 AM on Directv 348- The Stephanie Miller Show.

Carlos, for fuck's sake, don't be such a massive tool.
